Ce film est une claque. Je viens de le voir sur canal avec ma fille de 11 ans, enfant ô combien privilégiée, qui vient de réaliser que oui un enfant peut bel et bien souffrir dans ce monde. Quel beau discours, j'ai regardé hier le film sur Netflix j'ai été submergée par les émotions. C'est terrible d'apprendre que ces enfants sont vraiment dans la rue. Les acteurs de ce film sont tellement talentueux o aurait dit des vrais professionnels. Merci a vous pour ce travail fabuleux qui dépasse notre vocabulaire si pauvre pour décrire notre ressenti. Un des meilleure film que j'ai pu voir. Zain joue si bien, avec le coeur, tout se lis dans ses yeux, la peine la souffrance. D'une grande maturité adulte avant l'âge. Ce film me dechire le cœur. Et ca cest notre monde réel. Les enfants devaient etre aimé et pas travailler et connaitre la peine et la souffrance a leurs âge. J'espère que Zain continuera a faire des films, car sa sincérité et si grande. Merci a Nadine d'avoir mis la lumière sur ces enfants oubliés et mal aimer. Ce film mérite des oscar. Incroyable . Ce film m'a fait pleuré , touché au plus profond de mon cœur. Bravo Nadine .

J'ai eu l'incroyable chance de voir ce chef d'œuvre durant le festival de Cannes et d'apercevoir les acteurs au loin dans la salle. Ce film m'a juste laissé sans voix de part l'histoire qu'il raconte mais aussi part ce beaux plans qui sont magnifiquement filmés. On suit la dure vie du petit, courageux Zain qui évolue dans un milieu hostile et doit faire face à de multiples situations. Durant tout le film mes larmes ont coulé sans que je puisse les retenir. Nadine Labaki pousse le spectateur de son film à la réflexion et lui montrer la dure réalité dans laquelle vivent de nombreux enfants (misère, mariage forcé, rejet...) Félicitations à la réalisatrice, aux acteurs (surtout Zain qui joue son "rôle" à la perfection) et a toute l'équipe!!!!!!! Vous méritez ce prix.

Zain a la chance d être enfin scolarisé depuis 1 mois..il vit enfin en Norvège avec toute sa famille. Réfugié syrien depuis l âge de 6ans. Il n avait jamais dormit sur un vrai lit..c'est chose faite. Il vit dans une maison près de l eau ou il adore pêcher...et continue sa passion des oiseaux du monde entier.et reje de devenir acteur. Ce film ou il est l acteur de sa propre vie....suite a un casting sauvage.ouiiii ils sont des vraies enfants de la rue. La petite qui joue sa soeur n a pas encore cette chance. Bon vent à ce film. A ces enfants.. Et si on médite la dessu.

Even if I'm celebrating movies with you this evening, I connot help but thinking about a little girl named 'Sidra' who played 'Sahar' in the movie. While we are here, she had probably been all day under the sun, cheeks on car's windows, asking for help and defending herself against insults and humilation. She had probably used her wily and cunning caracter so she can survive the harsh life of the streets. She, probably, went home to do laundry, washing the dishes, making smthg to eat to her brothers and sisters and then going to sleep dreaming that she would, hopefully some day, go to the school as all kids in the world. I'm telling you this because I know we can make a change. I believe with all my heart in the power of cinema, it's not made for entertainement only but also for making people think, to show the hidden reality and to say the unsaid. We connot pretend to be ignorant anymore. We connot unsee these kids pain and agony. I don't know the solution, I don't have one. Sadly with all my readiness I couldn't save 'Sidra' from the streets. I can't guarantee Zain's future when we'll get back home, neither the syrian girl who played 'Mayssoun'. I invite you all to take a moment and meditate because an unhappy childhood creats an awful, dreadful future. This is why I want to all of us think about a solution. I dedicate this prize to my actors, who aren't a real ones but they let me be part of their lives and journey. I want to dedicate it to my second family, my crew, my soldiers, I love you all and I thank you for sticking with me in this crazy adventure and under all circumstances. I thank my angel guardians: my producers and distributors, to you I'll be always grateful. Only just watched Capernaum. It was a hard watch but that last few seconds of the film was everything!!! I read one of the reviews from a US film critic who described this very young talent as part Oliver Twist part James Dean and he’s so accurate. I hope for the best for this boy on his continuous journey in acting or whatever career he’ll eventually choose when he becomes an adult. Brilliant film highly recommended go see it!!!
