You are so right about the toxicity in kpop fandom space, it has gotten worst and worst each year with how we used social media compare to before, yes even in the 2nd generation of kpop you hear stuff but not to the 24/7 bombardment of the toxicity, back then it just doesn't travel around so fast like now. I have to just tune out the fandom space now because it has eroded my own personal mental health and enjoyment of kpop which is supposed to be a happy hobby that cheers me up away from all the surrounding shit that I am trying to escape.

I agree. Not going to lie, I tried out X for a bit and was following my different groups, and seeing the interactions with fandoms and all the wars was insane. It made me want to not get into certain groups as I was afraid that those fans may not like my thoughts or hate me bc they don't like my other fav groups, but honestly, I got into KPOP for the music and fell in love with the groups and music so I am ignoring all the toxic stuff.

I've never seen this guide before and I don't think they mentioned about the other member. but I think it's still worth acknowledging her in some way: The other member is Kim Garam, who unfortunately was kicked out of the group due to bullying allegations (according to some sources, the allegations were false, but not sure). she is now doing well and is an actress. Le Sserafim is of course a nod to the "Seraphim" angel, an angel with 6 wings, because the group originally had 6 members instead of 5

"Does Hybe have more money than JYP." Hybe has more money than all Kpop Companies combined lol. Hybe is a multi-label company. Meaning they bought a bunch of labels and now they own them. They are home to groups like : -BTS (The biggest Kpop Artist of all time) -SEVENTEEN -TXT -NEWJEANS -LE SSERAFIM -ENHYPEN -BOYNEXTDOOR -FROMIS_9 -&TEAM Etc. BTS alone brings in over 6B dollars into the Korean Economy every year lol Hybe also has another branch called "Hybe America" in which they manage American Artist such as Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, KATSEYE etc. But besides that! Le Sserafim is my ULT girl group, they are so extremely talented and they've been through SO much (especially this year) but they always come out on top, thank you for reacting to them :))) Also one more thing, Eunchae (Maknae) and Yunjin (Korean-American) are the tallest ☺️

​@@KPOPCarrie in kpop, there's "The Big 3" companies that dominate the scene: JYP, SM, and YG. but some people tend to say the Big 4 now because of HYBE, in terms of success and money. but in terms of impact in the kpop cultural foundation itself, it's always the Big 3

I'm a relatively new subscriber to your channel, Carrie, and I'm pretty sure you've only seen me comment on TWICE videos (if you remember me at all). So I feel like I should preference what I'm about to say with this - (G)I-DLE is my favorite group with TWICE being in the top 5 of groups I follow. LE SSERAFIM is another fav, though I wouldn't rank them in the top 5. For me, they are a group very similar to TWICE in that I'm in love with the members first, the music second. While TWICE often wins me over with their music, LE SSERAFIM can be hit or miss with me. It's just their sound. I either like it or not. Having said that, I'm in love with the members. Aside from TWICE, they produce the BEST side content and variety. They have that (G)I-DLE chaotic energy, but have far more shows to showcase it. So even if I'm so-so on their music, I'm still buying every album. I'll like at least one or more song per album so even if the comeback isn't for me, I'll often like a b-track. Also, I want to say that Sakura is one of my favorite idols, period, regardless of groups. She's the ultimate trooper and survivor, has crazy work ethic, and is just hilarious when she wants to be. Also, looking on just how protective she is of Eunchae (the maknae) is so heart warming. You get the impression that since she had to deal with idol hardships at such a young age that she wants to look out for the baby. It's kinda sweet. Lastly I want to point out LE SSERAFIM and (G)I-DLE's connections, because there are some. As you know, Miyeon and Chaewon know each other and have become friends. You also seem to know that Yuqi and Minnie have become friends with Yunjin, but Minnie is also friendly with Sakura, and Shuhua is somewhat friendly with Eunchae. Yuqi often refers to Yunjin as "my friend" whenever she talks about her (though I'm pretty sure she views Yena as her bestie outside the group). The only members of each group who don't have connections is Soyeon and Kazuha. Also, they both are a group of five who lost a member due to BS controversies. They also have song writers in both groups. Soyeon referenced LE SSERAFIM in Super Lady's lyrics. Shuhua threatened HYBE when she learned that they wouldn't let Eunchae dye her hair - literally the next time you saw Eunchae she had a different hair color. (Boss Baby scaring little ole HYBE). It's just interesting. Also, sorry for writing a novel.

When I compare her to Mina here, I am stating my own opinion. When I first got into TWICE, Mina was shy and introverted, but as I got to know her more like I did for Chaewon in HMLYCP, they had another side to them. I appreciate the feedback, but I appreciate not being told how to react as I look at the screen and hear what's going on.
