I feel like Yunjin has done her part to change the industry. She just got criticized when she said the same things others are praised for now. She spoke about dropping the fake idol image, body positivity, encouraging her members and friends to not do extreme diets and focus on being healthy instead, openly supported LGTBQ+ and better fan behavior towards idols all before it was trendy to do it. In my opinion, she made other people feel like they could say these things too if they felt the same way when they saw the international supprt she got outside of the kpop hate. Other groups also started dropping the idol image sometimes after Le Sserafim was praised for their No Celestial attitude towards fame. She has done her part without acknowledgment or appreciation. It makes her words and actions feel genuine. I love how BangPD supports that side of her.
