I love Le Sserafim! I especially love their take on the self-love/empowerment concept as a girl group. To get to know them a bit better I would definitely suggest watching their KZbin documentary "The World is My Oyster" to get to know some behind the scenes on their formation, and watching their Zoom call debate ("220604" on Le Sserafim's KZbin channel) to see their funny side a bit more! A few notes on the girls as well: - Garam left the group not too long after their first release. I won't get into why but you may notice some interesting camera angles/editing in the KZbin documentary due to her being intentionally edited out. The kpop community all have divided or mixed feelings regarding the circumstances of her leaving. But, overall, everyone has accepted her departure, the fact that Le Sserafim is now only 5 members, and that she is just a young girl going through a lot in the public eye so we should leave her in peace. - Chaewon and Sakura were both part of a temporary girl group together called I*Zone (2018-2021). It was an 11-member group formed via a survival show that started with 96 contestants, and they went on to be very popular during their run. Despite being in the same group, Chaewon and Sakura have both admitted that they weren't SUPER close during I*Zone days due to the large number of group members and the fact that Sakura was still learning Korean. They say they became a lot closer through training in preparation for Le Sserafim. - Yunjin was also a contestant on the survival show that formed I*Zone, but she did not make it into the final lineup. She continued training in the meantime until Le Sserafim was formed. Yunjin is also an American (from New York). - Before Sakura was on the I*Zone survival show, she was a member of Japanese mega-group AKB48 from 2014-2018 after being part of one of it's subsidiary groups since 2011 (when she was just 13). She was eventually one of the most popular members and has lots of experience in the Japanese entertainment market. - Kazuha is Japanese and did not start seriously learning Korean until she was recruited for Le Sserafim (late 2021) so she is still a bit quiet, but Sakura helps her a lot and she has been becoming more and more confident. -Lastly, here are their ages (by Western reckoning) -- Sakura - 24 -- Chaewon - 22 -- Yunjin - 21 -- Kazuha - 19 -- Eunchae - 16 Eunchae is much younger than the others but they take care of her really well!

Also Agree Max that their doc "World is my Oyster" will give you a real close-up view of their communication and tea, dynamics with each other. Epi. 02 may be the best start. 01 is too much of an intro and adding in the last 2 members so you wont get as much sense of their dynamics. It becomes more of the team in Epi 02.

A little background: Sakura, Chaewon and Yunjin are actually very experienced since they debuted in other successful girl groups in the past. Kazuha is Japanese and was a professional ballerina for 15 years so she's not new at performing but her progress in singing and Korean are incredible. Eunchae was a trainee before and I think of her as the classic maknae cute and bubbly (very talented too). Finally Kim Garam was part of the band for 15 days before she was let go. There was a bullying scandal. I won't go into detail whether she was guilty or innocent I dunno really but Hybe thought she looked guilty enough to turn the group into a 5 member instead of a 6 member group. I love your reactions, thanks a lot.

I know u didn't want to go too into it but Hybe defended her, but the backlash of the public was too much to let her stay. And she was proven innocent.

yunjin didn't debut in any other group before right?? wasn't she eliminated from produce 48?

I think this is kinda wrong information about Garam that hybe thought she was guilty...Hybe already said Garam was innocent but the backlash was so bad and netizens bullied her so much.. they still do, said Garam had connections to hybe..which was why I think she had to leave because even though there were evidence of innocence which she also presented after she left and they were also the same evidence hybe presented but because of the hate she was removed.

Yunjin became my favorite as soon as they introduced the members on Hybe’s channel. She is confident, genuine, passionate about music and performing, has a beautiful voice (also an opera singer), and just beautiful inside out.

I hope you can also react to more recent stuff from them, this was when they just debuted so they felt every shy and reserved but now they are the complete opposite, they are supper funny and when you mentioned Eunchae looked the most shy because she’s the youngest it’s not the reality now hahah they are chaotic and that’s why I feel so attracted to them

I honestly love lesserafim so much, they're grown on me so much nd I can appreciate their personalities even more now since I tuned into their content since before their debut. They were a bit awkward at first but now that they've gotten closer to one another I'm enjoying their group dynamic and content more and more

I love this group so much, maybe because of the age similarities they feel closer to me than other girlgroups i like. I would recommend reacting to their pre debut documentary "the world is my oyster" i think their dynamic would be interisting for you, since they havent known each other for too long, or have but weren't close, etc. Its about 4 episodes about 20 minutes each. It's also interisting the aspects the company decided to show where sometimes things aren't exactly favorable or nice for the members or the company itself

I don't really know alot about communication skills but to be honest i feel like unchae even though she is veeeeryyy young in comparison with the other members ( sakura is 8 years older then her) but she integrate very well with the group, and she don't go inoticable(especially in there variaty shows) i think she has a very strong personality. And yunjin is defenetly the most friendly out of all of them i love her so much😅. Sorry for my english❤️.

I think you should check out a more recent behind the scenes video so you can see the girls interact more. During their initial debut they were under a lot of publicly criticism (through no fault of their own) and so I think the girls were much more reserved and shy. They also had a member be removed from the group in the midst of their debut days and they had to find a new balance as a 5 member group. These days you can see a very clear sisterhood between then that was solidified during those difficult times for them. They have great communication now and their exchange of humor is great. They really are a group of sweet and hard working girls and despite the challenges they faced so early on as a group, they’ve really proven themselves and changed the public’s focus of them from the scandal to their skills.

about Kim Garam, after her teaser video was released, someone who went to the same school with her suddenly spread the rumor that Kim Garam bullied her and it took the internet like a storm. seriously, it was trending so much on Twitter and TikTok. HYBE and Source Music explained the real situation, stating that Kim Garam is the victim and what actually happened. they defended Kim Garam but the internet wasn't buying it. it took time but the rumor was slowly dying (really slow) and people started to say that, "ah the person that accused Garam must be jealous of her." that is when the accusor released half of the bullying scandal report that stated that Garam was the perpetrator. it's not even a full report, just like the 'fill in the box' part of the report but the internet went ham with it. saying that Garam is indeed a bully. at first she was put in hiatus but after some time, Source Music announced that Kim Garam has been released from the group. she stayed in le sserafim for 2 weeks before going on hiatus and got her contract canceled. just like g(idle) soojin, another bullying accusation that robbed the girls from their dream 😭😭😭

i love le sserafim!! yunjin and kazuha are my fav members. yunjin has that confident cool girl energy i LOVE and kazuha is super collected and graceful, but also actually very weird and funny. i think she's a bit limited by language ability here but we've seen more and more of her personality over time. chaewon and sakura definitely feel like the parents of the group with sakura playing a mom-like role and chaewon being like a dad in my opinion. both def give mature vibes which shows bc sakura is the eldest and chaewon the leader. tbh i never got a solid vibe from garam even though i've been interesed in le sserafim since predebut. i think the bullying accusations came out so quickly that they tainted my view of her so i can't say i know much about her. but the other 5 girls r really awesome and i adore them.
