愛してる in Japanese is not really used at all, even by couple. As a result that sounds "dieing mother last words to her children" level strong It doesn't come of as strong in Korean but that's still not something said a lot between adult family members

I think siblings doesn't need to say that they love each other. It's not like a romantic relationship where they remind each other often about this. They are family and even if they are not the perfect loving siblings they are (hopefully) still love each other without saying it. So it's fine. They can say it, but it's not that needed.
