However, the QUALITY of my voice is something I'll never be able to change, no matter how many hours I practice a day. It's frustrating, especially to hear my choir teacher to say to me: "Maybe you could be an instrumentalist?" Well, having said that, I'm glad I don't base my identity on being a person who can sing beautifully. It's definitely just a nice-to-have for me. I excel at other things, and I can attest to the dedication and determination needed to press onwards when you're tired or discouraged by a setback. When I wrote the above, I knew about the countless hours of rehearsal the audience doesn't see. But I am also able to appreciate the truly rare and exceptional level of talent these singers have.

Frances may have started it but Lea revolutionized the character, better vocally and showing emotions depth.
