Really love her Facial Expression. Lea can make it very sad and melancholic, and yet she retains her Disney princess Charm in her face and voice. Her voice is so sweet and even if the town is so sad. Because anyone can hit the high notes, but only Lea can make a Vietnamese Bar Girl sound like a Disney Princess and still make the character realistic and relatable. Because while Racheal Anne Go can really look like a modern day Vietnamese bar girl and sing without sounding American, Lea is still the best ever Kim. Because her Kim is a mutant, a Vietnamese bar girl who is really different from all the other girls. She was that bar girl with a golden heart.

First - exciting to see this footage that I’ve never seen before! HOWEVER, this isn’t for the 25th anniversary concert. Alexander Geminiani is Valjean here and he did the broadway revival, not the 25th anniversary concert. Also, Lea was never on the ground during the concert. Everyone stood in front of mics. These are clips of the Broadway revival rehearsal and performance. I believe it began in 2006 but Lea joined the cast in 2007 (March to October, I think).
