God doesn't just want us to have good theology; He wants us to know him and love him If you have faith but no works then your faith is dead, because if you have faith you will obey and do good works. 2 Peter 3:9 New International Version 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,(A) as some understand slowness. If we sinned, repent(change and turn away from sin) ask God for forgiveness and he will forgive us 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness God forgives, but there's consequences And also Nothing can separate us from the love of God!
