Leader Card Showcase Art | Star Wars Unlimited | Review

Fantasy Flight Games has decided to release all of the Showcase arts! This was a nice surprise. I review all of the arts as well as the Star Wars Unlimited foiling on these.

These are so-so.
Some of these are clearly much better than others. It is very likely that these showcase cards could be worth $500-$1000 or more. These are about 1 in 6 booster boxes I believe, which is quite rare. They are going to be about ONE IN 12 BOXES! That is absolutely insane.

yeah, they did that though - the Organized Play packs have extended art cards in surge foil - some of them are going for over $100ish like Sabine Wren foil unit,

I think between 300€ and 500€ per Card. Depends more on favorite Charakters than on Meta gameplay. For me its boba fett and i would trade any Showcase against His! Hopefully a have at least one Showcase in my two cases. Greetings from germany

For real... lol... some of them are "meh" but some of them are REALLY cool... I am just hoping to crack one in a pack this time around - maybe in a future set I will buy one.

That is quite alot of Leaders for the first set? do you need them to play a deck?

You do need just 1 leader - they put so many in the first set because there are no other sets to pull cards from. So they sort of had to build a meta right off the bat. Probably a really smart move honestly from a game design perspective.

I think it is 16 total - but they will probably slow down in the future sets. They have to populate the meta otherwise the first set would be super boring,@@RabbySadly

Showcase?! Umm... right now on Ebay all of the Showcase Art Leaders are going for like $700... It will probably drop but I would sell it now if you are looking to make some quick cash.

I disagree with you, I think all the art is trash, I will not be buying this game because of it.

All of it? Idk man rouge squadron skirmisher looks like a straight up magic card. I’d say like 30% is pretty bad, but to say none of it is good seems like a super unreasonable and impossible position to take.

Also the set 2 art imo is better than magic so far. The dark saber art? Good lord, it’s top tier magic art. I do agree though that the art could get better for sure.
