honestly, if Minzy was in SM she wouldn’t be known at all. She might end up just a back-up dancer until now. Know why? Coz SM focuses more on visuals. Let’s be realistic, Minzy doesn’t look like this before. She had a very ordinary, un-idol like face. Luckily, YG doesn’t focus on visuals but on talent that’s why she debuted. Noticed that she had plastic surgery when she’s not on 2NE1 anymore. Personally, I think she did it to be more accepted as solo artist (aside from wanting to be more pretty, i think). But, it’s just my opinion.

This season is just so much better than the previous one. I only watched it because of Jessi and Tiffany so when they kicked the latter out, it was the end game for me. But this new batch is just 10x more hilarious than the previous one. And you can see that they genuinely treat each other as family now.

I think it's because Yewon is taking the project the most seriously. For the others, it's variety/comedy or a way to carry their idol careers, but for Yewon it's a matter of overcoming trauma. I think he sees her potential and knows if he can get her confidence up, she can be something amazing again. He treats her like a damaged painting: carefully and with respect. It probably helps that she's fairly quiet and doesn't cause much trouble.
