You are absolutely right! It happened to my generation. Actually started with us. For I was in class 8 when Zia ul haq took control of the country. No political awareness developed in me or the entire cohort. But when I started working as a doctor in a government hospital, the social maladies make me think of political causes behind them. The best solution is to allow student unions and labour unions. That will cultivate political and social awareness in people from a young age.

After watching almost every video of this guy. I have concluded that he - like many pseudo liberals- creates concepts against the ideology of Islam one way or other. Maybe we do not give enough time and efforts to understand the concept of ideal society, economy and wellbeing in Islam. Rather we get ourselves confused by listening to the podcasts. Return back to our Deen. Yes if someone has studied authentic Islamic perspective, and only then he can compare it with other philosophies. But man, this guy know the art of speaking.

We cannot agree with someone entirely or put his thoughts as our new way of thinking. I am specially not talking about people from our neighbouring nation- but those Pakistani who are in their 30s or 40s. Before listening to the confusing ideologies of Social Media Scholars, have we studied the Quran with Translation and Tafsir ? How many days back have passed since we studied the Holy Book ? or any of the Saha e Sitta Hadith ? May be never..... Just to get social recognition in our peer circle - we are acknowledging these ideologies. Well, blaming mullas and ulamas is so easy than actually studying the Holy Quran and Ahadeeth.
