I've never watched ThreatX before. This ended up in my recommended video feed after watching a bunch of Jackie Fish's content on Eagles Rising Bannerlord. ThreatX is so funny! There are commentary gems throughout, such as when he tries to get a lord's quest to collect taxes, is told his army is too small, and he comments (42:50) "I don't have enough troops to collect taxes? That's ridiculous! I don't even see a guy who takes my money! He just does it online. 'By the way, if you don't pay taxes, you're DOOMED.' 'Oh, OK, I'll do it! I guess I will do it then. Fine!'" 10/10, my good sir, and you have merited but another subscription upon the KZbins.

stumbled upon your channel and have been binge watching the other series. love this one, RBM is tough to master but look forward to seeing how you handle the armor system. the 2 damage jav simulated it ‘bouncing off’ the armor(which was rags hilariously enough) due to low skills btw!

You should put the Cavalry guard (special unit) in a different formation and make them follow you all the time. It makes way more sense then having the special bodyguard cavalry just not defending you and charging at the enemy. And you can eventually have 5+ of them and go do some flanking on enemy armies. Also the lore makes more sense

ThreatX, German cav are great, Julius Caesar used them in his Gaul campaign. For a story point you could be an Arminius type character and become a mercenary for the Romans only to betray them and destroy thier army in the forest's of Germania. 🐺⚔️🐺

Regarding the modability of armours it is possible to have customisable armours in Warband mods, so it might be possible in Bannerlord too. But maybe not, Bannerlord is the outdated prequel before Warbands masterpiece

Played the mod, a quick tip for any one with RBM - do not waste time with Archers. They do nothing with RBM.

Would you consider playing some other games? Your upbeat commentary always entertaining, but I find myself a bit bored by 2 games cycling around. May i suggest wartales/battle brothers and crusader kings/stellaris? I think those games fit in the category "we doing this today" your channel does so great.

Check the channel I have tried many other games in the past but most unfortunately fail to get any traction on here as to why I stick to the sandbox rpgs these days. You can also check out my 2nd channel where I play other games for fun when I'm done recording main channel content. Recently I did some Palworld Helldivers 2 and hopefully this week I can dive into the new Terminator RTS

The Gladius was a light infantry/skirmisher sword, where the Spatha was a cavalry/heavy infantry sword. 35:20 Being that you have light cav, the British Light Dragoons wore blue. Heavy Dragoons wore Red

was really looking forward to playing this mod because i didnt like the last one very much but nexus mod rbm cant be ran on my pc ig, it just says file are recognized in the rbm file and crash before i can even open the game and everytime i do get it to load up using the steam rbm it just crashes as soon as i damage an enemy lol

you do not have to have the posture system. Its completely optional, you just need to make sure the module is turned on thats it. I played hours a few weeks back with your same setup no issues. Posture system is a required taste.

since the romans use mostly infantry with some mid tier archers in this maybe using some other factions' horse archers to help flank them since this faction doesnt really have any good cav

Arrows and throwing do not seem to damage people in this mod set the armour values are nearing 200 though so it is vastly over base game! The only real viable attack type I found seems to be thrusting dmg from a spear or sword. You will see in the coming videos you can even slash peasants wearing nothing but a shirt with a sword they will take 5-15 damage XD

I know this is old, but when you say you don’t do the “train troops” mission. If you’re okay failing a quest then they’re free recruits for the beginning, if they die, they die 🤷‍♂️ It’s all just meat for the grinder, sir

I'm playing it right now with the Posture system off; the main issue you'll find is that hard-shield fights(Infantry vs Infantry) might take a longer time to end due to posture breaking not being a thing; but otherwise the mod works just fine, just check the RBM settings in the main menu if you're interested
