In this 14th episode of Leading with Purpose, my guests are Aparna C, Mamta, and Usha, and we talk about what HR and L&D support to businesses and employees will look like in 2025. Some highlights of the conversation are -
- Managing attrition and keeping the human touch and connection alive in workplace interactions remains a focus.
- Upskilling, reskilling, and leader development will continue to get a lot of energy. The focus will be on getting employees Gen AI-ready, helping them develop functional skills, e.g., project management, finance, etc., and equipping leaders to lead effectively.
Organizations want to build the skills within rather than hire from outside. Employees can continue to look forward to subscription-based learning in addition to the traditional classroom approach. Employees must be accountable for their learning.
- Getting the organization future-ready entails clarity in goals and how success gets measured, strengthening the cultural fabric through coaching conversations, creating communities that collaborate and support each other, and equipping leaders to have crucial conversations while leading with compassion.
- Organizations will balance employee needs for flexibility with steps to foster collaboration, connection, and inclusion.
