Very nice party for Ralph! 👍. The camp 🏕 ground sounds family friendly. Joshua would probably like it. At least you know that no big cats are going to try and rob your fridge at night. The other thing I would ask about is snakes 🐍.

Yes, Joshua loves this place too! There are snakes in the reserve, but the staff try to keep the camp grounds free of rodents and hiding places so that snakes are not attracted into the camp ground. There are actually many snakes living in the city of Pretoria too.

The camp looks great! The fees are high for entry and I've never seen any of the big five. I think they dont have any big five, but they definitely have some buck. Its nice there but overall, too expensive to see some zebra and impala's

Thanks! They definitely do have the Big Five, but they are quite elusive. Dinokeng is also a pretty large place now, so the animals can roam quite far.

The big animals are probably smart enough to avoid humans and it looks like there’s a fence around the camp grounds. Yes snakes 🐍 do like to eat rodents!

I've checked plenty reviews of Dinokeng including Tripadvisor. Nobody sees the big five. Its a nature reserve but not a game reserve. Nice to visit, but dont go there believing you will be seeing the big five... you wont... The camps are great though and the food was excellent... Maybe I ate a piece of the last hippo LOL
