Paul💈💈 Festive and fitting for the holiday season this flower arrangement, Mrs H knows how to spread cheer, thanks so much. Nice shave there Paul, TOBS Sandalwood in any form is a royal experience IMO. The Twig did its job no sweat, mild but capable. SOTD: PAA Cube, Tallow & Steel "Echos of Rain" LE soap/splash, Wolf Whiskers custom badger brush, REX "Konsul" SS adj. slant razor w/Nacet blade, alum, witch hazel and Nivea balm to end...Awesome. Moring Paul. Nice shave today. the Twig gives a good shave. I have several SE razors and use each occasionally. My favorite is the OCUM Oren razor. This along with Razor Emporium Citrus soap applied with a PAA brush gave me a wonderful shave this morning. We have had a little chilly start to our morning here in the desert southwest of the US but warming to upper 50s by afternoon. Mrs. H really created a beautiful floral arrangement this day. Happy holidays to all. Used my Leaf prism Thorn today. Bought it die to the novelty but it is quite nimble and a good shaver. Used Stirling pumpkin spice, Thayers Lavender witch hazel. Cologne was Burberry London.

I also usually apply my aftershave twice. The first splash gets absorbed into my skin while conditioning it, allowing the second application to permeate and condition what the first may have missed. Ymmv. See you for the Sunday shave.

Hey Paul great Mid week shave . That TOBS was my very first shaving soap I purchased when I started wet shaving. Every time I use it I remember my grandfather. My SOFD was Captain's Choice Venture shave soap and aftershave. Razor is the Merkur 34G with a Wilkinson sword blade. Brush is your new brush. The balm is Fine Platinum. Mrs. H did it again with the flower arrangement it's wonderful and the decorations and light are a nice hold touch to the shave den. I want to wish you and Mrs. H a Merry Christmas. 🎁🎄🎄🎄. Take care

Another excellent shave Paul. Like you, I also love sandalwood scented soaps and creams but have been fortunate enough not to fall down the rabbit hole (for now haha). I’m still using the same setup as when I stated wet shaving 1 year ago. Razor is a powdered/black metal finish closed comb trading on Amazon as the Bambaw black metal safety razor, standard de89 head so smooth and efficient shave as usual. Brush is a RazoRock plissoft, what more can I say, the benchmark for me personally and soap and splash is the time tested and proven Proraso Red, absolutely love the scent of that, one of the best sandalwoods I’ve smelt so far next in the list is TOBS sandalwood. Oh and blades are my go to Astra SP.

Hey Paul....nice shave. The Twig seems like a very efficient razor......It looks like it knocked down most of the growth in the first pass. Do you notice any difference in blade feel between a DE blade and a single edge? Anyways.......SOTD: Pasteur's Timmermann Black Label bloom for a pre-shave and soap. Rex Envoy XL with a Personna Red (3rd use), Witch Hazel, Timmermann Black Aftershave and Balm. Excellent shave! I'm not sure if you can get Timmermann in the UK, but it is a great tallow-based soap that is worth checking out. Happy Holidays!

I use to use a shaving cream call Ingram, which I bought at Superdrug in England. Then they stopped selling it. I was so disappointed. Then today I went into Bodycare and they had some, new to there stores. I was so glad I found it as it really suits my skin . Its lovely to find something you have lost.

Nice shave Paul, I love the Tobs Sandalwood soap and cream I think it is their most popular that they sell the most of, Good razor the leaf twig, it funny isn’t it that the euromax single edge blade feels smooth to you and to me feels ruff well we’re all different and every thing is subjective take care and enjoy the rest of your week 😀👍

S.O.T.D. Floris 89 soap and cologne, Rex Envoy, Gillette Silver Blue, toner and balm. I have the Sandalwood soap and cologne very nice. Much prefer the soap to the cream as the cream is very strong in comparison. I will take this opportunity to wish Mrs H and yourself a very happy Christmas. Keep well and keep safe.
