I think Robertson could have a breakout season, but he shouldn't waste his youth in Toronto a place where he'll probably be underplayed again, like last season, and will probably never be appreciated. In contrast to Matthew Knies (80 games) who got more playing time last season than Robertson (56 games) and they are practically equal in goals and assists. The Leafs, Toronto Media and Toronto fans have a height biased, are overly critical and love to put players under the microscope. My guess is Robertson is going to be another Brian Bradley who excelled after leaving Toronto.

The wife has been spoiled with all the early playoff exits and insists that Tavares, Reilly, Kampf, McCabe, Liljgren remain on the roster and def does not want Cowan or Minten for at least another 3 years. she loves cottage family time more than the leafs.

Robertson has to prove he belongs on the Leafs. He will be traded at the deadline. It astounds me how little you really know about hockey. God knows who you blow to keep your job at Sportsnet 😂😂😂😂😂

He signed a one-year contract and earned his place in the opening roster after coming off a successful pre-season run. But he shouldn't waste his youth in Toronto. He will be underplayed again like last season. Like Sheldon Keefe, Berube likes playing bigger forwards.
