From before watching the video: If I can consistently W Malzahar right after he casts his W, hitting him and his voidlings at the same time, its a pretty chill lane. But if I fail that too many times I just get pushed in and can't do anything. When I do is pretty devastating to him because he often uses his E on minions to use his voidlings to push. Without the voidlings, he don't kill those minions, he don't get mana refund and I don't nullify one, but two of his abilities, so its a very easy trade when you pull it off.

As a malzahar main I knew instantly what champion he was talking about in the beginning of the video 🙈. And I really think a malz never wins early trade unless enemy lb is running it down. You just shove the wave stack items for later in the game and win team fights. Lb as a champion can always find her way out to stay relevant if not over power a malzahar.

I'm not even suprised Bob wins against Malz all the time. This is NA, people lose counter match ups on the advantageous side all the time. Even LCS pros often lose when they got the counter champ against their opposite laners. On other hand though, if you are practiced enough on your go-to-pick, then even its counters wouldn't be a trouble for you. Zed99 on KR server would be happy to go into any counter match ups against Zed and he would still come out fine, because he would know exactly how his opponent will use their champs to counter them and thus knowing how to play the lane and teamfight without getting exploited. It's kinda also the case for Bob here, he won partly because he knows exactly how Malz want to play this game and also because this Malz simply isn't that good on his champion.

I play alot of malz and the recent updates to items as rendered him useless. I wouldn't say he is a leblanc counter as your shield gets popped if you walk up. You try hold a wave last hitting and when enemy mid roams you shove hard to get early plates. That was just a bad malz player who didn't know how to use tp and when to effectively use his W. But yeah... malz sucks. Interesting fact!! Nocturne is a huge malz counter as his r breaks your shield instantly...don't know if that's a bug but it's not direct damage ?

I just looked this malz up and idk how he got masters he buys tear everygame on malz lvl 1 which is extremely bad because malz is already not a champion at lvl 1 and now hes taking away his ability to clear and anti burst if malz doesnt get his clear from dorans ring early it puts him behind because now he has to waste his q and w so his e doesnt expire and is prone to getting killed by his lane opponent or enemy jungler and his w is easily cleared by AA's or lb w

Play malzahar suppose the use every E to lb After 6 with ult no problems But malz and galio and lissadra all weak at roaming and afraid of enemy juggler I think easy counter is zed, if zed banned I pick graves First lb high burst trade is qwa, and can kill you if she hit chains Zed shadow on lb W mark and double Q when she W you mid air, and your AA is much better than lb, face trade until lb back and you chase her by swapping with shadow If lb use E before back W than her ult is no longer W dash that’s mean no mobility except going back W on your shadow If her chain hit you just ult when it snare if dodged keep chasing and make her use passive or ult ignite before her passive if you fed enough but usually need to follow flash Zed simply just wait for her W and all in

malz is one of my favorite champ for a few years because he shit on every assasin player. The thing is that this malz did everything wrong, he almost asked to be killed every time. At least in diamond i win lane 100% of the time, just sit back and farm, bait e range minions to poke and wait for ganks. If the enemy roams just fck his tower, if the enemy jg comes to cover, just push and poke. The thing is with malz is hard af to carry, it's easy to win lane but if your teams is bad you are fckd.
