This was the second straight year McNair traveled to Baltimore and threw three interceptions. Despite this, Eddie George had probably his last iconic game. I always thought the NFL game was better in the early 2000's. The game still had real def. Once the NFL stepped in and changed tackling, it screwed the game up. Now every QB throws for tons of yards. WR run across the middle freely. Def really has no chance now.
@brandonconforto315
@brandonconforto315 Жыл бұрын
The game was better in the 2000s and here is why. You had more diversity when it comes to offenses. It wasn’t all based on heavy passing attacks that rely on a elite QB. The same thing holds true for the college game. I think it was the better in the 2000s to the early 2010s. You had your schools that would have spread attacks but you’d also have a decent amount of schools still running pro-style offenses.

So, this Ravens team had the Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Defensive Rookie of the Year, crazy. Also, still can't believe that McNair isn't in the Hall of Fame
