9:12 The Dunning-Kruger effect is when you didn't look at their research but base your understanding of what the Dunning-Kruger effect is on what you heard on KZbin and use a graph that has nothing to do with either of them.

As someone with 8k hours over 12 years, trust me there's always something that someone needs to learn as there is so many mechanics and interactions. Also, as a support I have had games where I did terrible and kept being the first one to die but in return my team would be steamrolling the enemy team and we win easily. So the most unenjoyable games are the games that you will win and the games where you'll do good are the ones where you may end up losing.

13:49 ngl this gasp of excitement made me reminiscing my days of learning dota..... more than 10 years ago. I don't know if you are gonna continue playing dota or back to league, either way, you earn a subscriber. In dota there's so much things to learn about game sense/mechanic things that don't apply in league so best of luck.....

24:34 is actually a mistake, you normally don't want to deward enemy sentries when there's no obs, because might never re-check that spot with their own sentries. I guess your buddy is not a support player if he doesn't know that
@Ereretani26 күн бұрын
Yeah, you’re right, but I guess he told him to deward “to help” Weaver, maybe a fight there and Weaver tries to runaway, dewarding would save
@raelized17 күн бұрын
he had a weaver as an ally. dewarding the sentry was a good decision.

26:35 the legendary CEEEEEEEEEEB moment.
@ChillerNoKiller1Ай бұрын
23:35 it is actually better to let the sentry there because the enemy will think you dont have observer there, because sentry dont give vision only true sight. They only give vision when placed for a short time to make dewarding cliffs easier. Also one advice for pos 5 gameplay, I mean ogre is an exception and builds midas but usually on pos 5 its nice to build glimmer or force staff depending on the game. Also in the mid game you actually dont want to go inside the fight you play more on the outsides casting spells and only go in when the fight is almost over. Also dying in dota is not always a bad thing, and especially on pos 5 you are allowed to die more often. There are good and bad deaths usually when you force the enemy to use ultimates and many heroes (tps as well) then it is very good for your team.

19:25 little lesson of vision in Dota could be learnt here: while escaping, forest is your friend. You have better chance to escape if running toward North of the tower since the trees would block SB's vision so he can't charge you.
@jzheng732425 күн бұрын
General rules of thumb as a pos 5 (which is arguably the most difficult role in Dota): 1. At mid-late game, about 18 mins onward, the attack damage from almost all pos 5 is neglectable. So avoid attacking and exposing your position unless you confirm that your team have dominated the battle field. 2. Pos 5 normally have short CD control or defensive spells/items that can greatly limit your opponent's cores. Stay safe then spam as many spells as possible is the way to contribute the most to your team.

But as I stumble upon and watching your content somehow feels refreshing and I wanna comeback to play some dota again. And yes, the level of moba difficulty is Dota>LoL>MLBB, MLBB being the easiest one to access with a lot of active players. Hope you will improve over time.. You gain my respect brother. glhf and ggwp

This is a nice watch, thank you for giving dota2 a shot. Just a tip tho, learn a bit of not locking your camera to your hero. I know it feels weird to you but you'll get grip of it and it makes you see what's happening to your surroundings. Best of luck cheers!

If you want to improve, learn how to move the camera. Watch a pro game, from their perspective, and just pay attention to how they move their camera. Theres so much information you miss out on by limiting your camera to just following your hero. You can't be better than the lowest rank without proper camera movement.

Nice content dude! Tips: generally, as a viper... you dont want to aggro creep a bit too much, and also your explanation on creep aggro is wrong. Aggroing creeps makes the creeps hit you which means that there are slight windows that the enemy creeps hitting ur creeps. Which makes your wave die first, thus pushing the wave. AND you don't want that as a viper, also by hitting ur enemy by "not" autocasting your first ability wont draw aggro. There is no way BS could win against viper in any lane if both played correctly. Also id guess, its hard to do creep aggro now. Focus on other aspects first. There are tons of situations where you want to aggro creeps. Maybe some videos on youtube could explain a lot on the situations. BUT, if your hero is a dominating hero like sniper and viper generally you don't want to push the wave so on mid-lane aggroing creep is kind of bad (unless you know how to deaggro creep which makes it not pushing). :)

No pressure but do you think you can get into dota? I think starting with bots in dota can be really good because they are still somewhat maintained and very challenging for new players. I totally understand if you don't like the game though, seeing your match history. I got into a shooter game recently (actually my first 3d game) and it was also really overwhelming to be coached by my friends who aren't as patient.

I mean he did not worded it well. He said delete. But could be better if he said attack. Attacking a rune would delete/deny it.
@raelized17 күн бұрын
Delete only means removing something from existence. I don't get why he didn't understand it right away, to be honest. Maybe he's just oblivious to the idea that you can deny creeps in DotA and destroy items.
