Yeah, its funny. Seems like we see PC vs Phone fandom here. Heck, the WR guys doesn't even defending anything. They new to the neighborhood, then simply wondering why this happened, and then gets attacked. It's mind boggling to see what a fandom could do to others. I mean, both made by Riot. Riot can do better. They DID better in other product. They put nice eye candies in other product. Those are made by different modellers, with different mocap, with different choreograph, resulting in much more pleasing presentation and beautiful eye candy. Simply making the old product using the same eye candy as the new product, is the obvious solution. They got everything, for the exact same character. But some bigots just say "Nah, its just texture, only showcase, new choreograph, its not game play, don't want LoL2, blah blah blah" I even see some puritan thinking that a decade old model shouldn't be touched... WOW!!! I mean, we can see there is much more huge potential PC can do, while the mere phone apps can do that much. Super fine detail like in many newest games released in PC. "Detail" is different term than "Style". They can have the same style with updated detail. Wild Rift is a blatant show of that. But the potential is wasted, and being defended by a weird fandom cult. Its like seeing Pokemon nerds refusing to make their game more beautiful. Thinking that any suggestion to make it nicer, as an attack to their religion or something. Which is a pity, LoL universe have great world design.

While they are mostly the same models, they 100% look cleaner in WR. Some like Amumu are almost identical, just a slight touch up on shading etc. But some like Leona is night and day (hah) difference. Or Veigar for example, literally the same, except the WR one is more fluid and his hat has more polygons. Overall, how the fck is it possible that any given WR model has more polygons than all of PC League champs combined.

Idk, League is literally requires just calculator because of the age of the game. Couple years ago I used to play on my PC that was bought about ten years ago and I played with the medium graphic quality. Now I play with the high graphic quality on the average laptop. But I also play Wild rift occasionally and it's quite nice and chill, so no hate

I think the models in game look about the same, I actually prefer the black otuline the PC version offers, but I do wish they gave cool showcase model like this too. Maybe as another page option on the champ profile? That way you can rly get a better sense of the character and appreciate the models they make for them. Also for the skins you own too, that'd be rly cool.

I don't think a single person understands that the Wild Rift in-game models are literally nothing like their 3D Showcase models..like at all. Edit: You can tell with Akshan alone (one of the newest champs) that the in-game model in Wild Rift is lower poly than League of Legends. I understand people want the 3D Showcase models in-game for League but that's really over-reaching the boundaries of Riot all things considered.

Wildrift Max Graphics is better than LoL PC Max Graphics with skin or without Skin but the big advantage of LOL PC is the effect

Most WR ingame models are ported PC models, and at the end of the day its still a mobile game so it doesnt have as much features as PC. WR has better malphite and Kassadin ingame models tho, thats for sure. They update models that doesnt hold up in todays standards.

yeah but there's an issue, when you're showing the champions on front view I can see a super done presentation on wild rift (Detailed) and on the other hand its the champion of the traditional LOL game but with the in-game champion. I'd like to see both in-game maybe the details are not shown or even with less detail in wild rift. It's biased.

I assure you that the models you see in showcases are the same as in game we can zoom in while watching replay and u get to see the models try it for yourself. One more thing while WR have cleaner graphics pc version is much more optimized and balanced then the WR

Just so you know Asia and Southeast Asia have a lot of censorship laws thats why champions with skull looking heads or faces need to be “censored” thats why Brand doesn’t look as ghoulish in pc and why Thresh’s base skin is his unbound skin in pc. Since the game was first released in Asia they need to make new models for the champions that might get flagged down by the censorship laws. This also might be the case for Kassadin having the new model with a chest plate instead of being bare chested.

Anyone who thinks the showcase models are the same as the in game models has no idea how hard it would be to make the game run properly while having 10 of those high quality models on screen at once... There's two versions of them... the in game models have lower poly counts for optimization purposes... they're very similar to their PC counterparts...

They are the same (in-game & showcase), just with less details (in-game). But both are the same models, it's just hard to notice or differentiate from far away, while playing/in game. Just look at Leona or Riven or Veigar as an example. It's obviously not the same as PC. You can totally tell the differences in-game.

Looks like Wild Rift had 2 models or rather simplifies then during actual gameplay. There’s a pretty stark difference with characters in their champ select screens and actually on the field

Im a Wild Rift player, but i think they do a good job to both of them. Just one thing i want to see in the mobile version of LoL is the creature who selling items (idk what it is called) 😂. as we can see in this video, the animation so much better and "alive" in WR. But in PC version has a better map and champion's size scaling honestly for me,

I am surprised they dont have recall animations on the PC. I've always thought they had them on champs with regular skin. WR is my exposure to LOL and it's been great because of the graphics and smooth movements. Ive played ML recently and it just doesnt cut it. It feels like ML hasnt changed in the past few years the old heroes ive played (like guinevere) are still the same. It doesnt have the same smoothness I've been spoiled with WR

Wr has two 3d models, the ingame model is pretty much same as pc ingame model. And they have another 3d model that lets you view how the character would look qhich is an incredibly detailed 3d model which is only for show. Maybe in the future they will add these 3d models to pc to showcase the champions im guessing the reasons they havent bothered is there is just so many champions they have to design. Wr only introduced about half of them

No, it's the same model. Just in different LOD (level of details). Played on mi 10t 5g the model is pretty much the same one, just with more optimized LOD

Not exactly, all champions have downgraded versions of their display models when it comes to the actual game. And since no player can get close enough to see the in-game models, some champions use their PC League models in-game (Lux is a clear example).

I don't even think that having 2 separate models in WR is an issue. Like sure, the in-game model might be lower poly just like on League PC, but you'll be far more preoccupied playing the game and fighting than looking at the model, plus it looks good anyways. Having a 3D skin viewer though it's the game changer in this instance. You can actually see how the skins would look if they were given the attention and detail they deserve. You can play WR with the low poly skin but in your mind thinking it's the 3D model one since you've already seen it.
