Please sir i think to beat a defender effectively with shoulder drops you should drop your shoulder to the direction the defender is already facing or the direction the defender is going, this will make him commit easily and when he commits coming back would be difficult because he will move with the full impression of winning the ball and you would have a higher chance of beating them everytime. Please sir what do you think about this.

I think any drop of the shoulder is effective, the aim is to get them off balance so if you move your body effectively the defender will have a harder time
