Since - for some reason - there are no subtitles on this, here is a transcript I wrote when I was bored for all who might need it: The Freljord, a frozen, desolate place: War is coming to the Freljord. The Avarosan, the largest and strongest of the tribes: Led by Ashe, they seek peaceful unification. The Winter's Claw, the most warlike and brutal of the tribes: Lead by Sejuani, they think peace is another word for weakness. Sejuani has sworn to purge this weakness. Through war, the Freljord will be purified. Far in the north, the peaceful Frostguard protect Freljord's ancient secrets, or so the world believes. In truth, the Frostguard protect me: Lissandra. While others bicker, we prepare. When the time is right, we will strike. They cannot withstand us, they are only human, and when the war is over, the world, our world, will be reborn in ice.

Trundle was originally just a smart troll who seeked to overthrow his tribe's leader by finding a powerful weapon, a plan he came up with out of the blue. Somehow he actually does find his ice club (forgot the club's name, but Trundle also calls it Clubbems) but he also finds Lissandra protecting it. Using his wits, he tells her instead of killing him that he could instead spare him and in return he'd offer her a troll army, an offer Lissandra accepts...

Ok, lore time. Lissandra was one of the ancient ascendants that created the Freljord tribes; Avarosa, some other chick, and herself. She managed to be able to talk to the Watchers, some mysterious freaks that knew how to make her as powerful as possible, to become "Iceborn." She then got imbued in black ice, becoming one with it and also being powerful enough to create black ice all over Freljord. Volibear got visions from storms; saying that a creature of black ice would kill every single one of his bear brethren. He watched out for her, and waited. When Lissandra began her attack, so did Volibear. He literally managed to tear her eyes out, forcing her to flee in shock. She managed to live for a while by possessing the bodies of her ancestors, taking their lives whenever she got old so that she could take their identity. She's seen how well Ashe and Sejuani fight, and she sees her sisters in them, knowing that they will be the hardest threats to defeat; Sejuani carries the ice mace her ancestor had, and Ashe carries Avarosa's bow, and Volibear is still alive. With this knowledge, she's "waiting" for the perfect time to take all of them out, because they all manage to share her power. But then again, we got Xerath, Ryze, Brand, Syndra, and a bunch of other power-hungry champions to deal with... Hmm. Bottom line- you are somewhat correct.

I dislike that in this video, they neglect to mention Anivia's part in this. She is aware of Lissandra (unlike Ashe and Sejuani) And so would definitely focus more on her. Moreover, she and Ashe have an alliance, since neither want war.
