I'm kinda late, but this guy helped me with Soraka, I started playing her like a day ago, and he did do the same thing with putting a few levels in his q first then maxing w (tho I did it for a different reason but..), and I think I'll do the same unless they have a Draven or smth where we gonna play passive where I'll max W from the start Also I love the Locket buy instead of Moonstone to counter the anti heal, he was quite helpfull about Soraka so thanks lol

I found it hard to carry on enchanters until I found yuumi. Yuumi has a shit laning phase but you can get through it by using autos better than other support sometimes and even if you lose yuumi is a hypercarry champion once you have items and levels. Yuumi being untargetable and not dying lets her constantly get her full value on whatever target she wants, unlike other enchanters, so she's just broken mid-late. You can just focus fully on doing your best to make lane playable and after that yuumi is a wincon herself being on like 80% of champs in the game, though paying attention to cooldowns on cc in teamfights is actually pretty tough depending on how many of their champs have cc. Looking at this guy he has a lot of room to improve his mechanics, mainly ability usage and positioning. When yone was going in lategame he wasn't using W immediately to save him from burst and was using silence immediately in the general direction of the enemies. W is the no-brainer use this immediately ability, and he should save E to either self peel or interrupt an important ability/prevent the use of one. Don't just throw E out immediately without thinking about what you're using the ability for. I think he would do much better focusing on tightening up those mechanics initially rather than macro, because supports have to basically coerce their team into doing macro which is much less effective than when you are the one doing the macro because it delays the plays, people don't always know exactly what you mean with pings, etc. After basic ability usage, needs to pay attention to the threats on the enemy team and know their bubble of threat that he has to position outside of, though sometimes it is worth sacrficing your life a lot of times it isn't.

I don't like tabis at all here because enemy team's plan isn't to dive and autoattack you a bunch (like yi/rengar), so it just doesn't give good gold value compared to the cdr boots. If you're getting rekt by this comp, get zhonyas imo, it counters kayn to heck and back and helps with kassadin too.

I don’t understand building in a way that doesn’t enhance the kit of Soraka. I main her this season and my build is Moonstone, CDR boots, Spirit Visage, Thornmail, Redemption and the last item is situational. Can be Ardent or Chemtech Putrifier for more grevious wounds. It allows me to super heal my team and not have to base after every fight. I just regen everything.
