Was slightly confused, why does being at a different area in game affect the types of randoms you receive? Like why did you have to leave wyverns mechanically? Didnt know events did that. Knew about the 2 hr or so mark.

has something to do with stuff from the early days of the game not being able to spawn all 23 of the events. I assume because they didnt exist at the time - he was going to OG hunter areas that were released when the Hunter skill came out. Probably just due to the spaghetti code

Basically when they added hunter they didn't want randoms to teleport you away from your traps, so they restricted the randoms you can get in these hunters areas to only ones that do not teleport you. I think its specifically the pitfall traps that work like this

@@cornflake889it’s what the dude below said, you can’t get teleport randoms in hunter areas because otherwise you would place a box trap or something get tele’d away and lose it. As you were sorta alluding to, randoms used to be forced and not optional so it was an actual problem.
