funnily enough, I WAS happy with my kourend, desert & frem picks... after the final reveal I will be going kourend, frem & mory for my mage build. I didn't expect their final relic reveals to change my regions but yeah, damn, huge. Thanks for the entertainment last night while I waited til 5am for the reveal King

the fact that you get the drygore AND a raid is what makes desert so good to me. like sure tirannwn gets you a better blowpipe but then you have to pick another raid region for tbow

Drygore is also cracked with just tier 3 range so it's strong earlier than blowpipe and also still strong if you're going for a hybrid build that doesn't take 6 range

Mr Ryan Ryan do you think there’s any sort of route available for me to go full melee build while also still making a zuk kill free? I’ve never tried inferno in the main game and my minds fucked about a zuk kill for the last combat point. Is it worth to compromise my original plans in order to secure a zuk kill for that last point? Or should I just say fuck off to zuk and enjoy the game with 9 combat points like my original plans were?

Fk Zuk and have fun. 3 in range/mage is good enough for a good chance in Inferno regardless. Especially if you were gonna pick the t8 respawn relic

6 - 3 - 1 or 6 - 4 - 0 with combat masteries. If you take morytania and tiranwin then you have a nox halberd for mellee waves and bowfa if you get west spawns that can see you far away

@ thank you for the tips! Although I’ve decided I’ll be ignoring the inferno combat point. Pizza cape for life :) I came to realize for me personally as a mobile player putting time towards the inferno is just not worth it. If it seemed like I had a good reason to get it in the main game (having scythe so it’s more than a +1 max hit, which I don’t have and likely will be the last of the megarares I buy), maybe then I would think about dedicating time to learn it a bit in leagues. 1 combat point doesn’t seem worth my time in leagues, and one max hit surely doesn’t seem worth my time in the main game. I know this may get me flamed but I play for my own enjoyment :D

If Kandarin gives you Elite Void without needing Tiranwn, it may be an absolute sleeper pick. Dps calc has tbow+void 30% ahead of scythe/shadow builds.

Im thinking about doing a maximum healing melee build so Ill likely be taking Varlamore, Morytania and Asgarnia. Varlamore for the echo gloves that double healing, Morytania for the blood shards using the theiving relic. Asgarnia will be to get good melee armor (Bandos and later Torva) as well as the Dogsword, Morytania for TOB and Slayer Helm boost using the Slayer Relic, Ultor ring in Varlamore. Hopefully this build will be fun, not too worried about being max points just want to have fun with this leagues. Tried being sweaty for points in the last 2 trailblazer leagues and it just burned me out when I got to the clue grinds so I wont be making that mistake again.

Just fyi, you could forgo asgarnia for the blood moon armor from perilous moons same strength bonus but less defense, but with our healing should be fine

I'll say it since he did, I think Mr. Condor has downs for glazing Zeah. It's literally the worst region for early/mid upgrades in every style by far until you get to echo/raids. It only offers good uniques for melee Specers and salamander enthusiasts. Only worth taking if you want to learn the raid, really like the salamander, or want to try crazy melee specs. Nothing zeah offers is even close to BiS other than maybe melee specs, FM training, and farming without a relic. RC is garbage here for 90% of the playerbase taking BN and it has a ton of shit tasks like aerial fishing, sarachnis, and hydra.

You're looking for best in slot content in your first area, in looking for the nest region to pick first so you can progress through your relic tiers faster and unlock other regions faster, which it you look at the task lists, is the correct opinion to have, try looking at it with a bit more than 5% of your brain power

@KingCondor I'm looking for something BiS that isn't trash. No one cares about completing tasks fast for their next region other than streamers racing, especially if that first region offers you nothing else and you get burnt out of it. Varlamore has BiS Hunter (especially early), BiS midgame upgrades for every style, BiS training with naguas, BiS early Herb, and BiS gem store along with good farming, good prayer, and good thieving. Plenty of other regions offer a similar amount of things. If you used half your brain like you claim to, you'd realize a good amount of easy tasks isn't a good reason to pick an entire region when a lot of people don't care about CoX, farming w/o relic, melee spec weapons, or RC without BN. Hespori isn't even that good when you have to get the seed first and then wait 5+hrs for it to grow. By your logic, K is amazing because it offers the easiest early tasks, a ton of them, and a ton of early exp to boost you despite it easily being the worst region.

Why speak as if you're some expert when you literally just made an argument that perfectly applies to the worst region in addition to the one you're defending? You also said V doesn't offer much when it gives you literally the best set for melee before echo weapons/halberd/scythe in addition to several BiS things, and easy early money and tasks. You also confidently claimed PP wouldn't be in the league because it's integrated into the T1s despite it being in every league but the first and processing tools being in the last league lol.

I had locked in Wildy/Asg/Fremmy but with the slayer relic i may swap out Fremmmy for Mory. Thats depending if the slayer helm is better than the echo jewelry. Acc isnt as important because in going 4/6/0 cmb relics.

Range str will be higher with jewelry but also Morty is a raid region and it's 28% I think vs 15 with slayer him. The points are also relatively close so you either is fine. Obviously just whatever you think is fun at the end of the day.

I like wildy content more than fremmy. I was sold on fremmy until I saw slayer relic. I'm going Wildy Morytania Tiranwin for a 4-6-0 range melee hybrid. The crystal armor and slayer helm make melee just s good as my tier 6 range in a lot of places. And I can just bowfa swap in the same armor setup. So excited for this league.

I hate cox so much:( i agree with you 100% though. If drop rate for cox was as easy as toa I'd definitely pick it every time. I'm definitely not good enough to scale cox like 400 toa that's a guaranteed purple. I'm also going malee since every time i did mage or range i couldn't get the mega rares to drop. Did 5k nex before I got a zary 800 chambers for 1 purple. Sadly best thing I got was a fang.

I think you missed that the gloves from Grotesque Guardians automatically applies the ammy of the damned effects. So you won't have to do Shades of Mort'ton for it. Also, the gloves are same stats as barrows gloves, which are nice to have.

Asgarnia, you get full armadyl and zaryte vambs. If you're going fremmy also then got Ava's assembler. So like secondish best in slot but with all the leagues buffs and mastery's you honestly don't even need to be that strong. Plus your get Torva if you want to do melee. Pick kourend and you get the tbow/scythe/shadow and ancestrals as well as rigour and augry.

Depends on what you're trying to do, arguably if you're going for the tier 6 ranged mastery then Masori is kind of a waste of time to go for since you can wear tank armour and not miss. Before I knew what the combat masteries are I was considering Desert, but now I'm genuinely considering going Mory instead because it's also a raid region, has barrows + a nice echo item which makes barrows even better and will make my tank ranged wet dream come true. The only things that I think I would miss from the desert is the Elidinis statue, since I'm not picking the regions that will allow me to build an ornate pool in my house. But maybe I'm overvaluing it since I can't live without it in regular osrs.

Some region comparison notes I had jotted down: Tirranwn is weirdly not great for ranged because crystal only works with Bowfa (which isn't great this leagues), the echo item only benefits melee, and you need another region to fill your blowpipe Kourend gives you rigour and dhcb which honestly are pretty good (especially if you go frem) as it potentially frees up a relic for you(frem + kourend unlocks all spell books i believe) but you gotta do COX which is probably the least fun raid for most Morytania is a solid option not so much because of Karil's (even with the full set and echo gloves, it loses out to addy knives) but because of full tank justiciar meme builds. Nothing else in Morytania really benefits the ranged build so it really just gives you a bunch of stuff to kill (which is admittedly nice). Desert lets you smith dart tips which is a bit underrated as it lets you start on mithril darts real early and they're very comparable to the full Karil's loadout or the tree trumpet from Kourend. Echo blowpipe is still a great weapon, even though it's worse than TBP and will be significantly better and easier to maintain than rune knives Kandarin and Wildy just seem bad for ranged builds although at least with the latter you get bosses to kill and players to test your meme builds on IMO best options are Desert and Kourend, Morytania for meme justiciar build. Good thing about Desert and Kourend is that they're both pretty good first region unlocks with tons of low level skilling options

Varlamore is insane for the early-mid game. It gives you supps and gear to start working towards the end game gear. Im goin VMF melee as this has the most melee heavy bosses. I get to play with boppers, DH, nox, scythe and the spear
