Some of the best musical genetics ever combined in one person, and she resembles her mom at certain angles - which is the jackpot in terms of beauty. I am looking forward to watching her star continue to rise!

Only problem is that western society dosent recognise her ultra famous parents.

Wow!!!!!!! Usually the children of super stars aren't nearly as good as their parents but goodness... Leah is amazingly amazing! I didn't even think that Faye is her mom while she was singing. Very rare situation here. I'm in awe.

She essentially grew up in the U.S. I don't think she can be as popular in China as her mom, even though she is a great musician. She is more genuine.

I personally find the interviewer not very prepared or culturally aware. First, she commented on Leah speaking good English. Leah does, and maybe the interviewer had good intentions to compliment her. But not every Asian who speaks English well should be a surprise. People come from very different backgrounds. Then the interviewer asked Leah why she preferred to write in English as opposed to.... she wasn't sure what other languages Leah speaks. After Leah explained why she prefers writing in English to Mandarin, the interviewer replied, "That makes little sense." Leah might be young, but to me (maybe too sensitive), the interviewer wasn't being too respectful to Leah. She could have also asked more in-depth questions about her songs than focusing on why she writes in English. but Her last comments were good.

I thought Leah's answer was interesting enough to warrant the question, but I do find it a bit awkward whenever interviewers comment on people's English when the interviewee clearly has native or near-native fluency. To be fair though, the interviewer didn't say "that makes little sense" - she said "that makes a little sense", with "a little" being more of an emphatic understatement, or possibly a way to acknowledge that she somewhat understood the gist even though she didn't understand the details about the Chinese language.

Plus she introduces her as "Leah Dao", would be nice (and respectful) if she checked her pronunciation beforehand

Although to be fair I think interviewer is well-meaning, I can hear it in her voice, they just are ignorant about some things they could have researched

I believe what the interviewer replied was "that makes total sense"

Can I say how annoying it is when someone says your "English is perfect" you would never say that to a French or German artist

Whilst I agree that this comment is annoying, I hear this being told to pretty much any EU nationality here in the EU/UK...
