Hubbard started out as a sci-fi writer, but was also a pioneer in the field of mental/spiritual health. Starting with his first book, Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health, he shared his findings of a new technology he developed for how to cure mental illness WITHOUT the use of drugs, hypnosis or shock treatment.

Leah grew up in Scientology so I would trust her any day over someone who just dabbled lightly in it. Leah is a hammer of truth in this subject. I love her sheer honesty and straightforwardness. A lot is at stake for her here, i.e. her family, career and image, but she'd still rather fight for the truth than jeoperdise it when it comes to the corrupt roots of scientology.

They told me after I did a personality test that my family was abusive and I needed to leave them and come to the church. They did say to me I could be a Christian and a Scientologist at the same time. When my brother Inlaw over heard that he took me and walked out and told me to never set foot into one of these places again. Now watching this I’m so glad he did and now being 28 seeing how it’s so easy for people to get trapped in their manipulation

Vengence implies that there was something wrong done to the Scientologists originally by their victims. There wasn't; people simply spoke the truth and tried to get away from this cult. Scientology bullying is unprovoked and that's what real evil is; it creates its own motivation, out of pure malice and greed.

@@pythagorasnine you're right. But remember. Scn's see themselves as victims of religious persecution. To *them* it is vengeance. Vengeance is something of a virtue in Scientology. Like, if I was attracted to women (in that way) I’d find her very attractive. 😉 Obviously being a certain age in the industry it’s common to get some Botox here & there. My guess is that she just had some work done & there wasn’t enough time for her face to “adjust” before they filmed this. Or perhaps she just had an unfortunate reaction but either way it’s temporary. Leah is a beautiful woman inside & out so let’s focus on the story people. 😊

It looks like a digital "smoothing" filter (air brushing) has been used on both their faces to me. It has a very particular look and they use it alot now on peoples faces in tv, movies and photos, especially the movie posters the actors are unrecognizable from the amount of digital smoothing done to their faces and bodies. Get used to it it's how all tv people will look soon.

Matthew, well said! 👏 People need to focus on the dangerous cult of Scientology, and stop criticising people all the time. They're real people with feelings! What she does with her face is up to her. She's an incredibly brave woman to be doing what she's doing. It's dangerous to leave Scientology and speak out the way she has done. Kudos to her!

Can we give a shout out to”The Aftermath Foundation” for it’s wonderful work in offering a helping hand to members ,upon realizing the true motives of this Cult,in getting them back on the track of life after the Cult had taken everything from them...!!

YASS! I been mentioning them here and there in this thread. If people want to know how to get involved. That's your way. Donate and/or volunteer for the Aftermath Foundation. Since 2009, there has not been a single point of contact for people seeking help to get out since Bob Minton's org was shut down. The work continues as it has since 2009.

Funny how Scientology doesn't believe in god yet they condemn homosexuality? What does that have to do with any of their beliefs if they aren't stealing the same judgemental aspects of Christianity or Catholicism

Kanikapila Ho'ohanai I’m catholic and have studied Islam because I have friends who practice it and let me tell you that Scientology and Islam have absolutely nothing to do with each other. As a matter of fact Muslims recognize Christianity and Judaism as true religions and facts. The only difference is that to them Jesus was a prophet sent to us before Mohamed, not God itself.

@2300 Slatt A lot of cultures, specifically Polynesian cultures accepted all lifestyles until Europeans brought religion to them and enforced to them it was "wrong". So if you don't have teachings of a god you follow telling you its wrong and you still are bothered by how someone else lives their life then you're just a basic prejudice person with no foundation in your belief.
@LanaFromHawaii808

@2300 Slatt Many species of animals show homosexual behavior. Not to mention homosexuality could be a natural way of nature controlling its population. We as humans do so many things that go against nature yet people choose to focus on the one that bothers them.

2300 Slatt As an atheist and a biological scientist I can assure you science does absolutely agree with homosexuality, as Lana has explained it is observed in many species across the planet. Clearly you’re ignorance is the insult to atheists 😑😑
