They ought to start bringing charges against these people for racism. I'm Latina, it's racism regardless of color. I'm so tired of hearing that white people can't be victims of racism, it's simply not true (but we live in a world now that 'true' means whatever any one person has decided 'truth' is).

What is the truth that you expose students to? What you expose students to is your opinion of what is the truth, if you were objective you would expose students to reality. Who believes what they are told at face value? People need to interact with people of all ethnicities and walks of life in order to come to their own conclusions. The fact that you state you expose students to the truth implies you know what the unbiased truth is. Truth has nothing to do with conservative or liberal, so while you don’t force your opinion you preach your own biased opinion of the “truth”. Truth is in the mind of the person perceiving something to be true and everyone needs to come to their own conclusions. That isn’t possible if the information they are given isn’t unfiltered. I call that pushing a narrative, portraying things a specific way and framing it as truth. The only legitimate truth is reality and has to be based on what people experience themselves. Anyone can create data to support one angle or another which is why funding sources for research need to be scrutinized.

@Jerry Smith you need to revisit your little theory there. All single moms do not rely on government assistance, including myself. Instead of attacking Mom's who are taking care of their responsibilities with their kids, working, managing their homes, Dr appointments, etc and doing it by themselves, maybe you should start questioning why Dad's don't feel they need to do the same or hold the same standards to raise their children properly. I've seen to many Dad's, that for some reason, believe they can choose to be a parent when it's convenient for them.

in instances like this, yes homeschooling your kids is better than public schooling but this type of thing in public schooling is very rare and *personally* I think homeschooling doesn't out benifit public schooling. A big one being the daily interaction with other kids their age while growing up and experiencing valuable life experiences around people their own age. I remember back in highschool many times seeing new kids who were homeschooled all their lives until highschool and then came into highschool having no social skills at all and didn't know how to talk to other kids/adults or how to behave in most situations and had a real hard time making any friends their age. Not to mention depending on who the parent is thats homeschooling the child, the child could not learn as much if the parent isn't familiar with certain topics that a public school teacher went to college on that topic or if the parent doesn't take the homeschooling very serious or put enough time into it. Those are just my thoughts and experiences and in no way am I saying every homeschool kid is anti-social or misses out on learning certain topics.

I'm a Centrist with Republican and Democratic ideas, and I can look at this and say it's terrible. Most normal human beings can say this is terrible, but why is it still allowed then? Why is this in the curriculum? It seems like they are trying to divide and conquer us, but teaching kids racist ideas based on their skin color. I listen to Tim Pool podcast on Timcastirl KZbin every day, He tells it like it is, calls out Republicans for their actions, and calls out Democrats for their ridiculous actions and words as of late. But I completely disagreed with him on this George Floyd trial. You don't have to agree with your political parties mainstream media ideas just because you identify with that political party. I hope that now both sides of the political spectrum can come together and treat each other with respect. Far too many people are now so partisan that they wont even listen to the other side speak, and that is detrimental to our country. We have to come together to make this country great, but I fear that the divide and conquer strategy is winning. Democrats hate Republicans and Republicans hate Democrats, and this relationship isnt improving, it's getting worse. It seems that no matter *what* the issue is, they will vote with their party instead of looking at the situation for what it is and trying to work together. With George Floyd, most people can watch that video and say it was horrifying. I hope that we can do the same thing for the videos of riots, people attacking cops unjustly, or for cops attacking people unjustly. However, I fear that the nation is separating itself too far from reality, and it's hard to keep up with what is *actually true* coming from the media. CNN will say one thing, Fox will say another, and both are guilty of NOT reporting on a story that would hurt their respective political colleagues. I think most Americans are starting to see this, and most Americans have reasonable opinions on most issues. Their voices are not heard, it is only the far end of the spectrum we seem to hear from while our voices are silent. We do see a lot of extremists on both sides perpetuating insanity and the normal people in Congress seem to just fall in line, which causes the media to fall in line, and then the people who consider themselves on that "team." I was watching a Senate hearing recently talk about a bill they are going to pass, it is 1.9 Trillion dollars for this one bill, the most expensive bill in *history*, and it is sponsored by the Democrats; even though there have been Democrats on record saying that the bill "definitely has waste." The senator pointed out that only 9% of this "Covid relief bill" actually goes towards fighting covid. That every American will have to pay $5,000 to pay for this bill, and that 600mil of it is going to San Francisco instantaneously; which will cut out 92% of their budget deficit. But the schools that need money to reopen across America, they are delaying their money to help reopen schools for 2 years down the road. The speaker of the house's district is in San Francisco who helped get this bill on the floor, keep that in mind. And it gives all of the congressmen, senators, federal employees a *bonus* of 21,000 dollars each... All of the state employees get a bonus of 25,000 dollars each too... So they are taking our tax money and giving it to themselves and their city districts... Completely irrational way of spending money and devaluing all of the American workers money. The Federal government seems to think that we have an unlimited amount of money and that we can just type it into existence and make the American people pay for whatever they want. Party lines has nothing to do with these kinds of bills, they are destroying the very foundation of this country and I thought it very important to share this with you guys even though it doesnt relate to the Chauvin trial. There are so many things happening behind the scenes, incompetence on a grand scale so vast that we are sending stimulus checks to people actively *in prison* but we cant send money to help the schools reopen safely. I think that unless everyone can come together and call out this kind of insanity in government, that our great country will fall apart *very* quickly. But not many people are even aware of these issues, the media is a big distraction from everything going on. I only found out about this 1.9 Trillion dollar bill 2 days ago, and I would bet 98% of Americans dont know about it or what's in it. That is a serious problem for the future of our country. We can't keep pretending like everything is okay, and mortgage the future of our children like nothing is happening, or we will face serious consequences.

They have had teachers complaining during Zoom call classes about parents watching and listening to what they are doing. They didn't want parents to know about their brainwashing. What needs to happen is parents need to tell their kids to start recording their teachers and start reporting abuse. When I was a kid I rarely told my parents about the horrors and abuse I went through with teachers and the administration. Looking back I can see how out of control they were and their disciplines were excessive and disproportionate compared to other kids.

I had a black, female Afrikkanner professor for my Sociology course. She intentionally gave all males in the class lower scores than the females. In a group project I was in with 3 females, they all got A's and I received a D. I went to her after class to speak about this. "How in the world do we get different grades on a GROUP project?" "I felt you didn't do as much work as the others." "One girl photocopied a survey from our text book for her contribution. The other two girls as a team went to the library, got a video, and played it for the class. I wrote up an entire lesson plan, taught the whole class on it, and wrote down everything they should know on the chalk board." "I feel like you didn't bring any real knowledge to the topic." I then retrieved six books I got out of two different libraries with the bookmarks of where I got my information from and my quotes. "I am sorry you feel that all of these doctors and authors on the subject don't have any knowledge, because that is where I got mine from." "Well, what do you feel like you should get as a grade?" "Either we all get A's or we all get D's. This is absolutely ridiculous." Later on in the year we had to write a term paper. I am an English major mind you. She gave me an F on my report with just one comment. "You didn't support your thesis." And just had a big circle around the first paragraph. I've never received anything less than an A on any paper I've ever written. I took my paper to my current English teacher and asked her to review it. She told me if I had written it for her it would have been an A paper and had no idea what this other teacher was talking about. I then went back to this other professor and told her, "If I didn't support my thesis I wouldn't have even bothered to turn in this paper. I am an English major who never gets anything less than an A on any paper I've ever written, including my advanced English courses. I had that English teacher review this paper and she said there's absolutely nothing wrong with it." "What grade do you think you should have received?" "An A. It is what I deserve." During class she happened to make an off putting comment about how "all you white boys wouldn't understand," about her being a double minority as a black person, and a female. A point she brought up numerous times every class. I raised my hand to inform her that I was Native American. Then she said, "Oh, I should have known from your dark features." Had I the time to do so I should have really pressed this issue with the higher ups at the school. Needless to say that my review for her at the end of the semester was not a very lovely one.

back in the 80's and 90's, the left had gotten their playbook together, and they were starting out. they realized how much they could influence people, especially children... they could choose words and phrases for subtle but profound impact, to sow the ground for what is happening now... in more high profile situations, such as politics, they knew that if you could hold on to power for a period of time, you could continue to indoctrinate people, continue to influence organizations and institutions, both public and private, they understood that if you were able to control the media, that could ensure that the people only heard what the left wanted them to hear, and to make sure that the people understood things only in the way the left wanted. they played the long game.
