That's not military training. This instance is BULLYING! Big difference. Military training is tough but you do have the option to stop. Like the bells for the seal practical test. You can ring the bell if you've reached your breaking point. Or the gas test inside an enclosed space. You can pull the rope to ask to be let out. They usually always have medics nearby to provide aid. Not like what happened here at all. SK military have similar things like these. So this specific instance is stupidity because of their hierarchical culture allowing permissive ruthlessness against their younger people. This is why Jin as the oldest was very much respected by BTS because he rarely if ever play that age card. Oldest is supposed to be taking care of youngest ideally but power gets into people's head.

My speculation is there is more to this, and I believe this runs very deep. His cruel treatment and shaming started before he joined the military, I say this because of those videos I have seen. All parents don't rear their children the same, when they start school or interact with others it will rear its ugly head. Two children playing in the sandbox and really having fun/enjoying themselves, others get jealous and want to have /feel like they do. These are selfish and insecure people who want to piggyback on others happiness.
