When the guy came to my place and did this , he suggested they had scuba divers that would actually fix the hole for $400 cdn. I proceeded to use one of his red grease crayons , taped it to the end of my pool pole. Then he showed me precisely where to put the patch and I marked the spot with the red crayon. I went under to do my own dye test when he was gone, then I patched it myself. ( he actually gave me a patch from a liner sample book . I didn’t use my clear transparent patches because with time I find they get mouldy (but still work )

Can this detect leaks around stairs, lights or main drains
@Leaktools5 ай бұрын
You may get some competing signal from the ground connections that occur at those locations, but the LeakTrac will still be able to detect leaks around these areas.

Will this system work on a fibreglass pool. Where the fibreglass has been laminated onto an existing Marblelite surface. Another question, will this work on a Marblelited sufarce or tiled pool
@Leaktools5 ай бұрын
Yes, this system will work on a fiberglass pool, but will not work on a Marbelite or tile pool.

how about a concrete tiled pool? and i assume the pool must be empty when this system is used?

No, it is really only for PVC liner pools.

Hi Karl - Yes, the LeakTrac 2400 is able to detect even pinhole sized leaks in vinyl liners.

@@Leaktools Hi the local pool guys came in today with the leak trac 2400 which they used for the first time.. i am wondering if they earthed correctly since they said did not hear any peak in sound. he said he heard the same clicking sound constantly throughout the pool scanning, are you supposed to hear anything ? because seeing the video you should not hear any clicking unless you are in a direction of a leak, though again this guy told me it was a constant click every couple of seconds.

@@Leaktools to add to the above the sensitivity was on the highest.
