Love this! I was so lucky to be good friends with Bill Withers. He said one time a young girl approached him and said "Lean on me was the first song I ever played on piano" Bill replied "Me too kid. Me too" His genius was in his simplicity. He always wanted to write songs anyone could sing along with easily. Mission accomplished.
