This is actually the best type of cover, straight-up. It's still recognizable as the original song and doesn't completely change the fundamental identity of it, but it's different enough that someone familiar with Leander who hadn't heard the original song could just think it's an original Leander song. I love a cover that respects the original but still does something new with it.
