Still small voice-- my God. I've often referred back to this video when I'm feeling down and need to hear from God. I'm able, I'm able able. The Holy Spirit moved though LeAndria. The thing they are hearing is the culture of the black church.. they both have that in common. Along with thousands and thousands of other singers that grow up in the black church. When I listen to Liandria.. I hear a Southern Baptist preacher from the late 70s, early 80s.. and it takes me back to my childhood.

The beauty of Gospel music is that its pattern allows the beautiful flow of all, lead singer, choir, and all who would come to participate in the rendition.. Our songs don't get so technical..that they lose the flavor of the moment or the opportunity to personally worship God in an individual/ personal way..singing or listening. This is a perfect example of why LJ is such a great gospel singer...the lead singer, supporters and the audience are in worshipful harmony..

Let me make clear of some of what I was trying to say earlier. When I hear Le'Andria, I hear the same as you do. But I will take it even further..lol! I hear some of that male quartet singing from back in the day... She reminds me of a young Aretha at times.. she reminds me of a young Shirley...Dorinda.. Beverly Crawford, even tonex w/ some of her run/riff choices. I could go on.. Plus, she gives everything she has whenever she sings. I love it..

I hear it too. I don't hear it too much when Fantasia sings... but Fantasia can really sing. Le'Andria reminds me of a young Aretha in most of her vids (not too much in this one), but also shirley caesar, some of the ol' male quartet groups, beverly crawford, rev james moore etc. I hear that in Le'Andria's voice. Not so much Fantasia's. Fantasia's just got a nice voice and her energy is great. She's not afraid to let it all hang out on stage. That's what they definitely have in common (imo).
