Hi Ryan...my name is Zamri, greetings from Malaysia! I discovered your channel three months ago, and I must say, it has completely transformed my perspective. Your journey and insights have been a beacon of inspiration for me. I’m a CI Manager in an FMCG manufacturing company here, and we’ve been on our lean journey for over a decade. While we've made progress, we’re still striving to reach the level of success and excellence you’ve achieved. Your videos are a lifeline for people like me who are constantly looking to improve and innovate. Please, never stop sharing your knowledge and passion, it means so much to so many of us! Visiting you and your factory one day it’s a goal I’m holding on to tightly. Thank you for all that you do, and I hope to connect with you in person someday.

Great video Ryan. So many improvements. But I really love the hole in the wall and the turn table in the sewing room. Genius!!! Keep up inspiring us. Thank you.

Great video. So inspiring to see how happy the people are talking about their improvements. Paddy is my favourite. He's like an improvement ATM. God bless you all

I had the privilege of spending some 1:1 time with Paddy last month. I’d estimate he does the work of 6-8 “normal”people. The overall level of engagement of the team at Seating Matters is unbelievable because of outstanding leadership, total respect for people and commitment over time. It’s at a level I’ve never witnessed anywhere else. Another reason this video is so good is because of the mixture of improvements - some small & some requiring significant investment from management. To really progress in lean this has to happen. So inspiring and the level of passion Ryan has to bring this culture all of Ireland and the rest of the world is so inspiring. Happy Christmas and New Year Ryan and all at Seating Matters as well as the entire lean community around the world. Let’s make 2025 a milestone year in bringing lean to thousands more organisations! Make Ireland the new Japan. Let’s make the world the new Japan! (Lean wise that is!)

Well said! So inspiring 🙌 Been trying Gembadocs freetrail this month. Started with the most complicated assembely product we have, and made the SOP in one day! We did it at the gemba with the workers and it went so smooth👌
In the sewing carousel maybe you could put drawer slides so the sewer doesn’t have to lean over to grab the box. Thanks for all the info and videos

We took our doors off the kitchen cupboards, if you did that it would improve that guest kitchen even more 👍 That button machine is awesome. It might be good to look at something to ensure hands aren't there though. Our injection mold that we modified has two buttons you have to press and hold, one by each hand. I get that the guy was holding the object so maybe a magnet or something could save that

Great video , in your sewing room I think you need some way to contain the parts in the crates. As you showed the crates going into the sewing room you can see one crate that's quite full almost spilling over. Could you perhaps have a cargo net or a maybe use taller crates. I can almost see things falling out as it's being pushing around potentially leading to a defect.

Camera Focus Improvement Suggestion Hi Ryan & Team, I really enjoy your content - it’s insightful and well-produced! I just wanted to share a quick suggestion. I’ve noticed that during panning shots between people or places, the camera briefly loses focus, causing a temporary blur. If your camera supports it, enabling full-frame autofocus or adjusting wide-area focus settings could help maintain clarity during transitions. Your videos are great, and I think this small tweak could make them even better. Thanks for all the hard work - I’m looking forward to more knowledge rich content! Best regards, Amir

If the lift table @2:56 is on wheels like your other large material handling carts are then that means your moving heavy materials easily. I would like to know if those are custom made or who manufactured them for you. Was it the same company as the lift itself?
@leanmadesimple6 күн бұрын
Hi, we manufactured the trolleys in house, the lift table was added afterwards and we adapted the trolleys to suit.
