18 Years old on May.9, 2001 LeAnn Rimes Hosting the 2001 ACM Awards, Sang and Danced a Spectacular performance of Can't Fight the Moonlight perhaps her biggest hit single of her career hitting #1 in 12 Countries including the US. As well she performed a breath taking rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow as the close of the Awards show. She also had 10 introductions to performances by other Artists and 3 Introductions to Award Presenters including those presenting the Best Duo award, Entertainer of the year & Male vocalist of the year. The Highlight of the show was her Daddy's Song which had the audience alternatively in shock and hysterics as she did her parody song about her legal issues with her Father and Curb Records, it was funny & better then ice cream. Although she later said she was very nervous & anxious during the nerve-wracking experience she got Universal Praise and Rave Reviews from the media and star studded audience alike saying she was funny & relaxed & did a great job.
