@mrsofficer918 Also, since she doesn't specifically mention God, you can infer what she's talking about or to you she's talking to in different ways. Personally, I've always felt she was talking about/to her lover. It's a country song, which are almost all either about love or heartbreak (aside from a few others that are about something else). If you want to sing this to God, or this song makes you feel closer to God, by all means go for it, I can see how it would help you feel that way.

In case you haven't noticed, there are a lot of songs that mention God, that doesn't automatically list them as a Christian song. You asked it if was Christian, I was being nice and answering your question, and if you feel as if you have to say "not trying to be rude" then obviously you were rude and rephrase. If you had no intention of being rude, you wouldn't have stated that the way you did.

It's okay. I just get offended when people say stuff like duh and act like I am stupid. And, that has heightened since I've gotten pregnant. No worries :) Like I said, I think this song can really be taken any way, it just always makes me think of my guy. But, I can see how people could take it towards God.
