I am glad you liked this is how you remember it and I can see the level of emotional investment and intimacy it must demand! Ooh, Rosewater intrigues me... I have read new animal and agree with you... too far down the messy girl spectrum to me and I did not like the misrepresentation and BDSM standard/regulations really bothered me. I did like some of the depiction of grief though. I have read 2 casey mcquiston novels and I think I am going to skip on the pairing... I really want to read hits different!
