Is it possible for you to do 1 of these for every character? Personally, I'm a huge reindog fan and have followed retroxwolf in the past. But never fully mastered how to combo or kill upstage. I've always been mid er bad at smash bros but this games flow feels nice. I'd love to see if you make a video of every character so I can learn!

Batman feels so strong in this current game state. His approach tools feel better than ever to use and his primary win condition takes way less effort to achieve than most people think, but you definitely can't just mash with him anymore. I feel like I'm forced to play him way differently depending on the matchup and that constant challenge to adapt to your opponent's options is a really satisfying gameplay experience imo, and feels very on-brand for Batman.

@@asheryunan yeah they're just trash, but to be fair it's only the first week and nobody seems to understand how Batman's basic gameplan functions, so they just go for what they think is most likely to hit. Those players likely saw good results in the beta because back then, you could mash with Batman and it would work. I like Batman's dash attack, but I only use it as a mixup to catch people off-guard because he has better approach options. Calling him one-note just because of some scrub's tendencies takes away from all of his situational tools that I find very useful in certain matchups.

It’s genuinely the only way I can get on these busted characters like Wonder Woman with armor all game and they’ll eventually just jump over it batarangs half the tool it was before and sair 2 is completely gone which was his best movement tool and combo starter

His approach tools are definitely worse then you used be literally all of them batarang nerfed, sair 1 nerfed and slow , sair 2 removed , dive kick way to slow people just dodge and punish , off stage uppercut and slide tech gone, jab 1 horrible range only time you get it is from a whiff punish I’m genuinely not understanding what y’all are talking about this character has been gutted he’s literally the Walmart version of what he used to be the only thing he still has going for him is early bomb kill combos off dodge reads

If i remember right batmans smoke makes it so projectiles pass right through you and any attack you do out of the smoke applies stacks of weakness

Yesterday I was coooooking with batman. Smoke bomb is so sick because you can prep gear like attaching the bomb to the batarang and the enemy can’t see through it. Or you can grappling hook as a surprise if they push the smoke with melee you can counter it with a bunch of his moves The versatility is crazy. I attached the bomb to the batarang, threw it offscreen behind me, rolled through my enemy and it hit him in the back. I uppercutted him and it blew up to kill the guy midair it was sick.

Good info bro. Your content helped me get top 100 in the beta for multiple characters coming from the smash community. Hope this guide helps all the ADHD gremlins that say this relaunch is too slow. We have actual neutral in this game, same combo and expression potential, and a rebuilt engine for the netcode. This is a gem. Nakat's involvment and his content is also a gem. Hyped for the future or MVS and Nakat!!

Does the game force you into matches with bots when doing unranked 1v1s? The last three matches I had were against people barely playing with names like KeyboardTurner

Go to training room and set the bot to 100 damage and practice all fins moves. Should become clear what moves are meant to be killers at high damage. Just focus on those moves more

Yeah I’ve realized the same and Batman was my main when Multiversus was previously out. I can still go crazy but it takes so much more effort than other characters. I’ll still play him but just yesterday I’ve switched to learn and main black adam and having so much fun

The point of a game is for it to be challenging. When you use a character that requires zero skill whatsoever, it isn’t fun to play or go against. If you don’t want to learn how to play the game, then don’t play.

Try enjoying the game while playing as iron giant against Harley Quinn and see if you still enjoy the "challenge". In a competitive setting, your efforts are best used elsewhere.

For the "signature" use "Bouncerang "whenever the batarang misses and returns to you and hit the opponent it will applay 3 stacks of weakend easier to knock the opponent out. Then for "Team" i use "That's flammable, Doc!" So basically whenever you throw a projectile it ignites them and for "Strong" i use "Speed Force Assist" which does 5% movement speed and then for "Standard" i recommend using "Pugilist" it increases melee damage

Batman is actually a Walmart version of what he was now no good neutral tools sair1 is no where near as good as you say it is batarang is half the tool it was before if that which makes him even worse in 2’s sair2 is completely gone (his best combo starter and movement tool) up air two completely gone dash attack gets jumped over all game I’m genuinely getting killed by bum characters like banana guard who just do side special all game and I have nothing to contest with im losing it

Batman is 100% the strongest 1v1 character in the game. Batarang makes the game a whole two v1 and wins neutral for you while batman has some of the most oppresive offensive preassure in the game with true frame traps now that up air actually works and kills early along with some of the best disadvantage state in the game. I hope this character gets heavily nerfed soon cause hes way too strong for 1s

Idk where you’re reply went but quite the opposite and I’ve got the clips to prove that that’s why I know what I’m saying I use to use side air 2 as my main get in tool and they completely killed the move to the point where it doesn’t even come out unless it’s on hit anymore , dive kick as well used to be a great get in tool now it’s too slow to hit any above average player it either gets parried or dodge jab punished , batarang as well used to be a great get in tool now it’s complete dog shit has no range , no speed , no control , his dash attack now is a great get in tool but once the opponent realizes that’s a good option all they do is jump over it and you get spike punished into a full combo he is now a full read based and EXTREMELY neutral based character if you’re getting killed by him it’s just an outplay I’m ngl there are genuinely so many characters that are better then him now

He’s weak and not what he used to be, you don’t know what you’re talking about, he needs to be buffed. His batarang is too slow and falls too slowly, his dive kick is slow, he is generally slower than he was.
