I can see why they replaced the home screen music after an update. This version feels like a basic ringtone that's been extended to around a minute in length.
I got these from an earlier (pre-update) Leapster Explorer firmware package. It took forever to get the thing to extract (because it's a raw UBIFS image and I had to set up a Linux machine to work with it).
Despite common belief, the update didn't replace the Leapster Explorer OS with the LeapsterGS Explorer version, as on the GS, the L3B and L3X folders were replaced with "Lucy" folders. On both versions of the original Explorer OS, they're still named L3B (Leapster 3 Base) and L3X (Leapster 3 eXplorer). The update completely replaced the music, meaning the only way to get the old version back is to take it from an older firmware.
This is just the system audio (home screen, system UI, common menus). Game audio and application audio is excluded here.
