Hi Alisa I studied German for 7 years at school and college but this was 20 years ago. I'm thinking of moving to Germany in the future and after watching this I feel so much better in terms of my confidence. I'm really surprised with how much I remember but I have a long way to go. Thank you so much

Alisa, we need to learn vocabulary along with the articles. I feel like learning all these words is close to worthless if I don't know the article it goes with it. I like the pronunciation though. Keep up the good work, improvement comes with time :)

Keep Linguee open alongside this video to look up the articles. Come on, that isn't a lot of work.

Then I take a break for a few days & then continue taking a vitamin C every day. Etc. Ich bin Deutch geboren und habe Deutschland verlassen wie ich sechzehn und ein halb Jahre alt war. Hoffentlich werde ich nocheinmahl nach Deutschland wieder gehen vor ein paar Monate. Etc.

Quarantine is not a place. It is the method of isolating an individual from the group for a certain time period to prevent the transmission of diseases. So one is not taken to quarantine. One is in quarantine.

I enjoyed the video as a beginner, but there were many minor mistakes in the proofreading part and some inconsistency on the translated part 'underlining' and swapping from first in german then english to the other way around(might be wrong about this one), but i still got good info from the video and fun too

But the translations are not accurate. I mean this is just one of them: "Ich habe einmal mein T-shirt gefärbt" is "I once dyed my own T-shirt" not "I dyed a T-shirt myself". You're trying to get people to learn new words, but you're gonna end up teaching some of them wrong. Einmal=once, selbst/selber=myself . Not bashing or anything, but if they don't know the language, they might think that that`s the translation or that it might be a synonym...

We are not learning English. You speak German too fast and English too slow
@lucyapanda64995 жыл бұрын
That's because of her English level. Her English sentences also aren't always right, usually in the little details, like when she literally translates a word. German speakers are also usually quite fast, so best to get used to it.
