You tend to bob and weave towards the attacker's outside so you can strike them before they get a chance to strike you. So as seen here, Ma'am Cheryl bob and weave to my right side underneath my right arm allowing her to strike with a powerful left hook punch. If the left hook was thrown as the attacked, Ma'am Cheryl would have bob and weave to my left and countered with a right hook or a right cross.
