Pimsleur is a good series, its been around forever. You should subscribe rather than buy the lessons its more effective and the app doesn't have bells and whistles it gets the job done. The review is in depth and accurate, although I didn't have any trouble subscribing to the monthly. If you spend a half hour every day and never repeat a lesson it will take a month to get through the course. Realistically 6 to 8 weeks and yes you will repeat some of the lessons. Nice feature you can pause your subscription which is what I just did for Spanish because I am moving to Spain this month and I know I will not have time to study. Its a good course don't be put off by the Comprehensible Input crowd they say you can learn just doing that, but then you find out they are spending 200 -300 hours to get some basics. You do better with 30 hours Pimsleur.
