Needed this, thx Lisa. I’ve literally been contemplating what kind of spread to start with for my daughter and I. I’ve never done one for her, or us, but I’ve been feeling the need to start going there. Em is nonverbal, so it’s a biggie for me to start dipping my toe in with readings regarding her. I feel this would be a great spread to start with. When the student is ready, the teacher shall appear…🙏💫

idea for name of spread.......the spread actually looks like a key to me in its appearance ....and I always say "Love in alike a Lock and the Key to open that lock is trust". So maybe...the Relationship Key or Lock....just a thought....and thank you so much as I have requested this spread a few times and so grateful you have done it. It's so interesting how differently everyone reads the same cards. When you started off with Temperance representing the current state of the relationship, my initial thoughts were that the relationship is very balanced with a fair amount of give-and-take, but you read it as the complete opposite, LOL! I had a totally positive view of the card. What a great spread, I will definitely make use of this!

I read it the same way. I guess it depends on why the querent/reader is doing the reading, if it's because they feel like there's an issue or if it's a pure check in.

I've come to view all three of the virtues (Justice, Fortitude, Temperance) this way, especially without reversals. Not very negatively, bur perhaps indicating a situation where the virtue will be challenged. Mary Grace Fahrun on her video about Strength talked about how it might mean somebody in the closet and having to endure keeping their true nature hidden for safety. That was quite enlightening to me and what awakened me to this. Ever since that, I find these cards to be much more nuanced.

Also the first position is heart of the issue, so I wouldn't read any cards in this position in a positive light.

The timing of this video is amazing! I spent all morning looking for a spread and dedicated deck for my husband and I to do weekly card pulls. I think I can use this as a base to create something that would be perfect for us. I’ve just been doing 3 card spreads for each of us and one card for our relationship. We just had our first baby and need to dedicate some time to reflect together weekly. Plus I needed an excuse to buy this deck. Seems perfect for relationship readings because it takes away the sometimes confining connections the cards have to male and female energies and could work for anyone.
