It is not a desktop experience crammed into a phone. It's an entirely separate piece of software. You cannot state that web pages "load 87% slower on a phone than a desktop" A desktop can have way more configurations, therefore, you cannot say that statement with any form of confidence. A $800 desktop is faster than a $800 smartphone/tablet no matter what. Index suppression is used on anything that is a browser. Going back to go forward makes more sense so you can cherry pick what you want to see rather than swiping a whole bunch. This app seems to be the same browsing experience but just more inconvenient.

In theory this app is pretty good but the way they advertise it is terrible. First, my normal search engine is modified from its original to help mobile. Second, the cringe add jokes make it even worse. Third, the loading competition thing where it opens the fastest website up first is a bad idea because websites get less relevant the further you search and it’s possible to have a not so relative website load before the most relative

I’m sorry, but a lot of the points here, trying to get the product to look good, is failing. I don’t think anyone minds that they have to press back to go to the search result. It doesn’t take long, it’s just a click. Another point is that swiping and clicking a button virtually makes no difference. Sure, swiping would make it quicker, but by about a second or two. It’s not a great point. Also, I don’t see how it takes 87% longer to get your results (unless you have bad wifi, idk) because getting your results is pretty quick anyway, so it just seems like a fake statistic. Another reason why this advert sucks is because changing your browser is unnecessary since the default on your phone is Google, which happens to be the best. Even if you don’t want google, you can just type in the search engine you want, and click on the result. I don’t know why they even mentioned this, but on Safari or Google, you can also can go to Shopping, or Videos or News, etc... I literally have no idea why they mentioned it but whatever. Still have a minute left to watch, but this rant was already too long and I just wasted my time typing out some bullshit, but yeee.

This was a great presentation I wish more commercial where like this and didn't focus on being cool and vague. She explained the app well and if I was a business man I would invest in this. This ad popped up before a video on "Because Science" I had to come here and show my support. Last I love your spokesperson she played her character great. Of course the desktop browser is faster you get so much more from a desktop then with a phone easy access to tabs, multi monitor support, more screen real-estate, full keyboard and mouse support and more mobile browsers were not designed to be as good as there desktop counterparts it's just way more efficient regardless on how many dumb gimmicks you add also looking at this that boring list view looks a lot faster than this I'll stick with Chrome despite it's flaws even it seems less bloated then this
