Is this retention inside the trigger guard, or no?

So the GLS latches onto the trigger guard, but I wouldn't say that it is inside of it.

Is it bad idea to train with both an ALS and GLS holsters? Is it hard to maintain consistent proficiency with two different releases?
@copquest2 ай бұрын
Personally, I think you are good to train with both. In fact, doing dry fire drills with any holster you own is a good idea.

So there's no adjustable retention? Only the GLS? I'm looking at this for someone with low grip strength. She already had a weapon that works well for her.

There is no adjustable retention. The GLS doesn't take a lot of grip strength, but all depends on the person. We want our customers to feel comfortable with their holsters. We have a 30-day return policy if she wants to test it out and decide. Hope that helps!

Did they make this newer model for the 19 double stack guns? I have the older one that comes without the mod wing, but looking to get this updated one.

Yes we have fits in stock that will fit all gens of the Glock 19: www.copquest.com/safariland-575-gls-pro-fit-iwb-holster_23-2860.htm
@jayfig787 ай бұрын
@@copquestare you able to verify that they are the exact same model? I ask because I bought it last year direct from safariland and they gave me an older model that had no mod wing attachment. I wouldn’t want to order it only to find out that it’s the exact same one I already have.
@copquest7 ай бұрын
@@jayfig78 Sorry for that experience you had with Safariland. No we can't verify that it is the same exact model, but the 575 GLS should come with the tuck device (mod wing) in the package.

David thought so, that is why he wanted to do a video on it. Thank you for your comment.

A retention concealment holster? I’ve been carrying since the early 80’s as a 28 year police officer and retired firearms instructor. Concealed carry relies on the cover garment and being concealed for security.

The photos that pop up in the beginning of the video show how easily this holster can be concealed. The cover garments are off in the pictures so we can see the holster. And 28 years?! Right on, that's awesome!
