This is a very helpful video- kind of like a Bob Ross paint along video, you wind up with a finished product at the end. The only suggestion I would have is to slow down just a bit when clicking and hopping about ...a few of the sections I had to play over and over because I didn't know where to look on the screen and it was over before I could see what happened. But great tutorial😀

great video so far! im sorry to have to comment this question i have, when it came to turning the grid 3d ( @ 13:27), the layer in the art we were making turned black and covered everything else in the composition and really only lets me play with the grid itself until i control z to only keep running into the same problem. i've retraced my steps and followed from scratch, any tips on how to get unstuck?

Sounds like you were looking at just the black solid layer only. You’ll just need to navigate back to the composition window. Just double click on it in the project panel and you’ll come back

44:34 When I double click the text layer it does not prompt into another interface like how it is shown in the video, plus sometimes I realised that my rectangle drawing tool does not have the fill option and can't really draw out a simple rectangle. At 38:22 you have the thick red stroke showing. I have followed your instructions and my stroke is nowhere near as thick even when I increase it to 100 or even showing. Is there an issue with one of the other settings?

That is an odd one. Try it on a just a regular text object and see if you get the same issue.

You have to make sure the arrow tool is highlighted before you double click into a composition, otherwise it might do some different things

Dude, I appreciate the tutorial but one thing that can be improved is that you keep talking "under your breath", or making these "aside statements", but you lower the volume of your voice (and talk fast) so it's almost like you're mumbling (rapidly). I am first noticing it in the "Pre-Composing" segment. I have the volume set low on my phone, so I am not disturbing other ppl near me. When you speak normally (and enunciate), I can hear (and understand) you just fine, but when you mumble, I have no idea what you're saying. I have to turn the overall volume up so i can try to understand the mumbling, but then it's too loud when you go back to talking normally. Since you switch back and forth between these two speaking styles repeatedly, it makes it hard to listen to. Anyways, it's something you can look out for going forward. Other than that issue, the tutorial is really excellent. Thanks!
