Hey Sid! It does have that option and it's just a plug and play. Thinking about it now, I've never done a walk through on playing music off a USB stick so I'll add that to the video list for the 2022 model. Cheers!

Hi Steve, thx for sharing this video! I'm from China, I have a Lincoln Corsair 2021, but it has Sync+ built-in system. I guess Lincoln made the changes in order to localize their sales. But it's hard to use! I really want to install Sync4 instead of Sync+! 😭

Yes! If you go to edit the address afterwards you can give it a nickname. I missed that part during this video but am adding it in for the 2022 models!

The full screen capability isn't available everywhere. If you're just in the regular Sync4 maps you could press the little arrow key in the info block to hide it

Glad it helped! The version of Sync4 in the Nautilus doesn't support climate controls unfortunately.. but the voice assistant can. You can use your voice to set the climate for the driver/passenger side! carswithsteve.com/sync-4-voice-commands/

@@gsr852 You're welcome! The larger Sync4 screens in the Ford lineup have the climate control settings in the screen. I'd guess we might see something like that in the next gen Lincoln though!

If you’ve got Waze installed on your iPhone it should come up automatically when you setup CarPlay. On your phone go to Settings -> General -> CarPlay Find your car and then make sure that the app is showing there. If it is, try deleting waze and then reinstalling it

Hey Eli, missed this comment! No way to have Waze show up through the screen unless connected through CarPlay - but there's no way for it to take up the full screen real estate like you can with factory nav either unfortunately

Just need to head to the app store on your phone.. Google Play on Android and App Store for Apple devices. Search for Lincoln Way, download and follow the directions!

Thank you! I don't think it'll have a refresh for the 2023 model - my guess is 2024 at the earliest before we see Sync4 in a North American Aviator. With the new EV platform Lincoln is launching it's also possible that there's an Aviator EV equivalent

Steve, one problem with this. When i am connected with blutooth listing to a music, which is playing on my phone. I start recording video on snapchat on any other app the sound changes to very low quality. Do you how to fix that. Thanks in advance and you made very helpful videos anyway.

Will have to play around a bit and see if I can duplicate that problem - but it sounds like the phone's volume priority settings is doing that

@@benjaminraikany9184 It looks like volume priority is exactly what's causing the issue. Unfortunately no way that I know of to override that setting but if I come up with a solution I'll let you know

Agreed! I don't know of a manufacturer that has a hidden screen like that from the factory but it would be neat to hide it if you wanted

I've had my new Nautilus for a month, and I can tell you that the screen does not get in the way -- at all. People see the interior photos and imagine it blocking a good piece of the windshield, but none of the windshield is blocked at all.
