Just recently been doing this.. been mapping out the fretboard using caged (in major) and realized the 135 link so went through and built the second through to dim chords on the scale was a bit of teeth grinding lol but it really helped, I knew I could just Google it but knew I'd remember it better if I worked it out and practiced the arpeggios, then did the relative minor. Next step is to do all that for each position! When my teeth stop hurting lol.. Very cool to hear it explained so well it really helped some thing's click for me.. Thank you 🙏🕊️✨

Who was the genius who designed the fretboard to enable these chord shapes to be played by the 'standard' human hand ... viz. all the notes needed for complex chords can be reached simply by stretching the pinky .... *_awesome ergonomic engineering...._*

Can you hear me knockin.. ever take off your low e and tune to chords? Just cause of your video theme song. I always said Id never alt tune but not that bad when you id the notes

Yes, alt tunings open up a whole new world. I have tried taking off the 6th string, it means you can strum without having to worry about hit the low string. But I usually leave it on.
