Thanks for your videos ! It's helping me a lot in learning amharic! The challenge sentence is: እሱ ተማሪ ነበር. I've got a question : I see sometimes the same word presented with different spelling for the same sound, like ሐኪማ and ሃኪም, or መሀድ and መሄድ. Can we use both spelling? How does it works with spelling of words and with different letters sounding the same? I will greatly appreciate some more explanation which will help understanding the way the langage works and/or the way it is used, and help memorizing. Thanks a lot for your feed back !

For the transliteration honestly, you can use what ever makes the most sense to you and what helps you learn the best. One correction on the challenge, neberech is the past tense for a women. Issu is the 3rd person male so you need a different conjugation there.

@@howtospeakamharic7648 Amharic has both short and long consonants even though the spelling doesn't show it. It would make sense to show it in the transliteration though: nebberech instead of neberech.

Correction: issu temari neber. The word you used 'neberk' means u were (u change from talking about him to talking to him). Issu temari neber = he was a student ante temari neberk = you were a student
