Hi Ian! Do you know the name for the process of putting the film back together after colour and sound have been completed? Eg placing the final sound mix into the Resolve timeline that has been coloured? And who usually does this step - is it the editor? Thanks!

A great introduction to the colour workspace and colour correction generally. As you mention, there are many ways to tackle the same issues, but it's great to have a starting point. Another approach is to configure and apply auto adjustments.I used this tutorial with Avid opened and had an experiment with the features you mention. Looking forward to the colour grading tutorial. Thanks for the great work!

I've been enjoying your no-nonsense tutorials on Media Composer. So much better than the official ones from Avid. Any plans for more uploads?

Hello i have a question about the new avid that i just upgraded to. On my old avid i could grab the color correction filter and grab it and drop it on to a video clip and it would automatically auto black auto contrast and auto balance, automatically everytime. And then i would go and adjust the video file from there, it seemed to work great for me. How do i change it to do this? PLease help thanks

I recall that's in user setting, under correction.
